Today is a special day, no it’s not because I have been slacking on the posts and I’m finally catching up, nor is it because it’s that one time of the week when Ebelle5 dedicates Monday to celebrity snapshots with glam shoulder goods, but rather even bigger news. . . Bag Bliss got a makeover. Yep for those of you who keep coming back every day to read my obsessive purse ramblings, you now have a more glamorous site to look at.

I should just call today Jessica Simpson Louis Vuitton overload. To be honest, I’m not a huge fan of Jessica Simpson, but I am an enormous fan of her handbag collections, particularly all her Louis Vuitton’s.

Jessica Simpson – All I have to say is poor Nick for having to put up with Jessica and her dad. I laughed when I heard that when they got engaged Nick wanted a prenuptial but Jessica’s father convinced her not to sign. I bet she’s feeling pretty dumb now that she has to pay up. (As most of you know when they got married Nick was the one with all the money from his boy band years in the group 98 degrees, then Jessica’s career took off during the marriage.) Speaking of dumb, I thought that was pretty pathetic when she came out and said she ‘isn’t really as dumb as everyone thinks’, but she was told to act dumb by the ‘Newlywed’ producers. If true. . then what a puppet. Sorry for all you Jessica Simpson fans. On a nicer note, check out these lovely Louis Vuittons!

New Kooba collection just arrived for spring 05! Maybe it’s the plump shape, maybe it’s the braided woven leather belt, whatever it is I love this new Kooba Small Ginger in glazed chestnut. I have no Kooba bags in my purse collection however this is one that I wouldn’t mind getting my hands on.

For $15 more you can get the same bag in the larger more roomy size. That sounds so minimal, but the retail price of the small Kooba Ginger is $635 so you are going to be paying a steep price for whatever size you choose. Spring is the season when wicker basket handbags look fashionable, however not when you add fur around the mouth of the bag to make it look like a wild animal is about to burst out. It would have been such a lovely bag, with the sweet simple shape, but then the design of the bag goes a step further with synthetic fur and lining. note: While it may look like an animal is stuffed in your bag, there were no animals hurt in the process of making this bag, all faux fur.
