Tod’s Decoupage | Shopping Media
This bag isn’t number one in my book, which is why I am very surprised that it’s the number one seller at eluxury right now. The bag is called the Decoupage Shopping Media by Tod’s. Highlights include the denim exterior accented with textured croco leather trim and textile lining with golden logo-engraved studs, topped off with the convenient exterior “decoupage” leather flap pocket. This super roomy bag has an interior center zip and two open side compartments, a perfect design to stow essentials without bulking up the look of the bag. Ugly Friday | Dior Handbag
I know what you are thinking. “Is this bag real?” The answer is yes, believe it or not this hideous Cousin It copy is in fact an authentic Dior handbag. Uhg! The bag would have looked semi-nice if it didn’t have the hair sprouting off the top. It also kind of looks like a pink mustache. John Galliano for Christian Dior, what where you thinking? Your designs are kind of out there but not this extreme, this handbag is over-the-top ugly.

So is it normal for someone to carry around expensive jewelry in their Louis Vuitton handbag, totaling $1.4million? Not only that, but to set it down on a bench and forget about it. Who does this? The true story . . John Suhrhoff a respiratory therapist was enjoying a nice day at the park when he spotted the Louis Vuitton handbag sitting alone. He went over and examined the bag only to discover that the bag was filled with jewelry! To be exact, the content of the bag according to the police department was a 12-carat diamond ring, pearl and emerald jewelry, a Cartier watch and roughly $500 in Canadian and American cash. Apparently a family from Canada was in Northern California for a daughter’s wedding and somehow misplaced the Louis Vuitton bag. Let’s just hope this family learned their lesson.

Rachel Zoe set to launch handbag collection
Did you know. . . Famous celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe is teaming up with Judith Leiber to launch her own handbag collection! Very interesting.
According to WWD. . The stylist, a vegetarian, said she is obsessed with animal skins, and the line incorporates plenty of them. Exotic skins such as lizard, crocodile and python, among other materials, are used in the two silhouettes that she created with Zambrelli. The Medusa style is a pliable satchel with ruched outside pockets at the sides, woven leather or suede shoulder straps and a flap closure. The Cleopatra is an oversize, rectangular minaudiere. Both bags come in about 12 color variations, including a siren red and a matte gold, and are topped off with a heavy gold fob depicting two snakes coiled around a ring.

These bags will be available in September at Neiman Marcus as well as in the Judith Leiber stores located in Las Vegas, Atlanta, New York and Costa Mesa, Calif. Price range for this collection ranges from $2,000 to $10,000.

My opinion . . wow, pretty pricey! I haven’t seen this collection yet but I’m very curious to see how these bags turn out. So far from what I have been reading about this collection I’m not that impressed, I would rather save my money. . . buy a simple classic Hermes!

Well great news, they added women bags to their collection! That’s right femme bag lovers, you can now get your hands on a gorgeous bag by this designer.

Wednesday eBay Item of the Week!
Louis Vuitton | Vernis Reade GM Bag
So after browsing around on eBay trying to find the perfect bag to blog about, I stumbled upon this discontinued Louis Vuitton Violet Vernis Reade GM Bag.

About the Bag: This bag is in gently used condition. The bag does have color transfer on the base of the bag and on some of the side area. With the color being so dark, it is a little difficult to notice. . .the interior is spotless. . .the handles are a nice golden honey color with one small ink mark on it….the inside tab states “Louis Vuitton Paris Made in France”….the date code is #TH1929….the bag measures 18.5″ x 14″ x 7.9″ (very roomy)…the interior has a zipped pocket…the hardware is still shiny. This item is in gently used condition with flaws here and there….so if you are picky about every detail on a bag, then this bag is not for you….but if you are looking for a gorgeous discontinued bag in a vibrant color with lots of life left in it….then you are at the right place.
