Dooney and Bourke
The newest not so lovely bag is this new Dooney & Bourke “Bubble” Medium Tapered Tassel Bag. I don’t know how to say it nicely. . but Dooney and Bourke you are on my ugly list. I don’t get it with the Dooney and Bourke designers, why are all of their bags an eyesore. I mean first there was the Star and Heart lines that looks as if someone drew with a coloring pencil a bunch of stars/hearts and then colored them in with crayons. Then there was the Doodle line that combined crayon like shading techniques with the Dooney and Bourke signature name. Now there is this plain Dooney & Bourke Bubble Line. The design is so simple and boring – bubbles with the D&B signature – this line is ready for the middle / high school aged population.

I mean really, I know this is my own personal taste but I have come to realize that the only bags that I truly like from Dooney and Bourke are the bags that do not have any D&B logo – such as the Vintage and Metallic Nile lines.

Marc Jacobs | Perforated Brigitte
Spring, the season when perforated handbags came back into style. Designer Marc Jacobs did it for the Louis Vuitton Monogram Perforation line and for his own Marc Jacobs line. At first I wasn’t totally impressed with this line, but over the last couple months I guess the design grew on me.

The Marc Jacobs Perforated Leather Brigitte – The perforation is not the only highlight of this bag, but the signature super chunky silver hardware, and the removable leather tassel is attention-grabbing as well. Other characteristics of this bag include the suede interior and elegant rolled leather handles. This MJ Perforated Leather Brigitte is available at Eluxury.com. The two shoulder-goods that are available at this time are the Flap bag (13″ length x 8.5″ width x 2.25″ height for $1,250) and Brigitte (13.5″ length x 8″ height x 7.5″ width for $1,295) in white or dark chocolate soft grained Italian leather.

Not the first design that pops into my head when I think of a classic Chanel bag. So here is something a little bit different – a very simple in design, Chanel black leather purse

About the bag: “Chanel” and “CC” Logo is on the front of the bag. Serial number 8520224 (the serial number is inside the wall pocket in the bag) with hologram sticker inside the bag. This classy Chanel bag was only used one time and has no marks or scratches on the bag – ‘like new’ condition. This is a really gorgeous Chanel purse. Measurements are 12″ x 5.5″ x bottom width 2.5″. The total length of each strap measures about 16.5″. Drop measures about 6″.

So I hope you’re having a wonderful Monday. It’s already noon and I haven’t really gotten anything done. Well, I’m finally responding to emails that I have long ignored. I know this is so unlike me. Usually I’m on my laptop all day and almost all night and as soon as the little message pops up that I have an email I respond. . .well, not lately. I took my mini break and now I’m back to purse blogging.
