Fact about me: I can’t sit in one spot for more than 30 minutes, so I never watch television or movies. So I am sorry all you Kate Welsh fans, but I really have no idea who she is, but I do know that she is carrying a cheap Banana Republic Gold Clutch. I can say that because I own the same. You are probably wondering why I am referring to it as cheap quality (poorly made), well let me tell you, I have never in my life purchased a bag (or clutch) that fell apart while in delivery. At the top of the frame opening there is a little cluster of crystals which rubbed off during the journey. I liked it and I needed a gold clutch, so I drove to the nearest Banana Republic which from where I was living at the time was 3 hours away. So I went there and swapped and by the time I got home they rubbed off again. I gave up and threw it in my closet where is has sat for the last year or so. I know, I know, ‘you get what you pay for’, however I don’t feel that applies here because I believe I paid in area of $80ish. There should be quality at that price.

Other than not liking her Banana Republic clutch, I think her dress, shoes and bracelets are ugly but her makeup and hair look okay.

Coffee cups an accessory? I think so. I noticed while strolling throughout the streets of Seattle it seems as if everyone (especially in the early hours of the morning) has a coffee cup in hand. The trendiest Seattle Coffee cups (if that were possible) to be seen with are Seattle Best, Starbuck and Tully’s. It’s such a necessity that really is it that crazy to consider it an accessory? Even I can be seen anywhere (beach, shopping, ect) with a coffee cup in one hand and my designer purse in the other. Everyday before class I religiously get a coffee, even if I’m running late I would have to make it through the coffee stand. The importance of doing so is as essential as getting ready in the morning. Maybe I am the only one who feels that a coffee cup can be an accessory, it could very well just be my coffee addiction speaking.

Madonna loves her (vintage) Starbucks Coffee Accessory. I don’t know if you noticed, but Starbucks recently went retro and changed their emblem back to the original Starbucks logo, therefore Madonna is sporting a vintage.

Speaking of Madonna, queerplanet.co.uk reported that pop icon Madonna is set to become the new face of French luxury fashion brand Louis Vuitton, if plans for the deal go through.

Louis Vuitton | Groom Line
The Groom represents the “Spirit of Travel”. The Louis Vuitton Groom line is not set to make its debut until late next month.

The Louis Vuitton coin purse has been sent to the VIP and to the press’ top journalists to present this upcoming collection. The Groom coin purse is “Made in France” with golden brass keychain links to the D-ring found in most Louis Vuitton pieces and measures in at 3.75″ in diameter.

Right now it is nearly impossible to get your hands on the new Louis Vuitton Groom line, the pictures haven’t even been produced to the U.S. public yet. Come back on Wednesday and I will tell you about an eBay seller that claims to have gotten her hands on the new Groom collection. At first I was skeptical but after looking at her amazing feedback, I must feature her for eBay item of the week.

Marc Jacobs | Leopard Print Satchel
Trend Alert for fall 2006: leopard print is back! My first initial thought when I ran across this bag was that I would rather get the Marc Jacobs Quilted metallic bronze Stam and a large Marc Jacobs Quilted Bowler in the color mouse for that price of $2k or better yet pay a portion of my condo fee. For the love of the (necessary) accessory.

My shoe fetish is not as strong as handbag passion so I am taking a wild guess here when I say that Victoria Beckham’s boots are (*holding my breath*) Balenciaga. If my memory is correct (*thinking back*) these boots resemble those that were worn by the supermodels as they paraded up and down the Balenciaga runway show for fall / winter 2006. But really who cares about the boots, they are not nearly as eye catching (some would say an eyesore) as Victoria Beckham’s Marc Jacobs Leopard Print satchel.

Not everyone can pull of the hot new fall trend of leopard print or by wearing a sweater dress that looks like an oversized shirt, but Mrs. Posh does it well.

T minus 39 days until a spectacular event! Do you know what it is? It is Bag Bliss the Bag Blog’s 1 year anniversary! 1 year down infinite more to go. So I have decided that come October 24th it is indeed time for another Bag Bliss Giveaway. This time when I have the free Louis Vuitton giveaway it will only be available to tBF or tAF members with over 50 posts (so get started!) and other members will vote for the winner (too much pressure last time). I was hoping that the new Louis Vuiton Azur collection would be available but the release date isn’t until November (uhg). So what else could the item be? Kate Moss has a cheap bag and is proud of it! This celebrity supermodel’s bag retails for a (*drum roll*) under $10. No joke. Sitting with my laptop and sipping on my coffee and thinking to myself “that’s the same price as this triple tall sugar-free nonfat vanilla latte plus tip”.

32 year old style pioneer extraordinaire Kate Moss has been spotted all over London with her super cheap $6.00 bag. An oversized white tote decorated with a pink hippie chick surrounded by a wave of black butterflies, and you know really who cares that the bag is only $6.00, it’s a fabulous deal and you can bet this bag will fly off the shelves like there is no tomorrow.

What I like most about this picture is that it shows not everybody needs a premium designer purse or the latest “It Bag” to be fashionable. Hum, has Miss Moss started a new trend?

Today the creative director of Lacoste is Christophe Lemaire. The line was founded in 1933 by world famous tennis player Jean Rene Lacoste (nicked “le Crocodile”).

The famous logo was born through a bet. French tennis champion Rene Lacoste agreed to a gamble with his Captain of the French Davis Cup Team. If he were to have won (a very important) match he would have received an alligator suitcase. He lost. The local papers printed that he “fought like an alligator” and was nicknamed “the Alligator” by the American press. Later on that year Robert George sketched up the famous ‘crocodile’ for friend Rene Lactose who then had the image embroidered on a blazer which he commonly wore on the courts. Tada, the legacy of Lacoste was born.

About the Bag: If it was spring summer 2007 then I wouldn’t even hesitate, this bag would be mine. This Lacoste navy blue and white pinstriped small-weave terrycloth bag is brand new with tags still attached and adorned with the super sized alligator logo. Interior in cotton with alligator illustration repeated. Zipper pocket and hanging zipper clutch. Snap top. Measures about 19 x 14 x 6. The size is big enough for a weekend getaway, everyday work tote or even as a chic diaper bag.
