Nicole Richie | Balenciaga Lariat Handbags
Without a doubt Nicole Richie loves her designer Balenciaga (bal-en-see-ah-gah) handbags. Over this past summer alone, Nicole Richie has confessed to adding the green, blue, pink, black and white Lariat to her growing Balenciaga handbag collection. Pictured above she is showing off two of her new additions. The Balenciaga Lariat in light blue on one arm and the black on the other – Sorry I don’t know the official names.

I’m not sure why someone would wear two identical designer handbags. What’s the purpose of wearing two of the same sized Balenciaga Lariat handbags? If traveling and you love Balenciaga so much then why not just carry the Balenciaga Weekender? You can fit two Lariat’s in there. The measurements of the Lariat are 13″ x 2.5″ x 7.5″ with an 18″ shoulder strap. The Weekender style measures 21″ x 9″ x 15″.

Lambertson Truex | Brant | View!
Mid-day purse deal time! Wahoo! Lookie what I discovered on the clearance shelf – the Lambertson Truex “Brant” leather hobo marked down on sale for $600 via Bloomingdales. It’s a classic styled soft pebbled leather hobo with minor eye-catching details (but not too distracting) like the brained bridge closure that clasps shut with the signature ‘LT’ logo metal buckle.

Get it while it’s hot! While browsing around I found a similar bag, not identical but pretty close that is not (I repeat *not*) on sale. No deal via Neiman Marcus. The only difference between the two bags is that the one not on sale has two front pockets (ask yourself do I need those two front pockets for double the price?) and the strap is in a different spot (both are shoulder bags).

The bag on the Neiman Marcus site retails for a whopping $1,195. Personally I would save and go for the Bloomingdale’s Purse Deal.

Hermes | Runway Spring 2007
To be honest I don’t know how I feel about the new Hermes Spring 2007 handbag collection. Part of my is in awe for the simple fact that it is a Hermes bag but then the other part of me is saying wtf happened, what was Jean Paul Gaultier thinking – he scrunched up the Hermes Kelly bag and coiled it up with a leather belt! Bag Snob said it best, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”! Although, much thanks to Jean Paul Gaultier for the Hermes Birkin Shoulder Birkin – styled to be worn over the shoulder.

PETA supporter Stella McCartney is known for never using leather or fur in her work. The exterior of the bag is made of faux patent leather while the interior is lined in brown faux suede. My favorite features of this Ladybird Appaloosa tote is the signature Stella McCartney circle trinket and a smaller detachable patent purse with gold Stella McCartney embossed plaque – Oh I adore.

So you want to get your hands on the tote? Well no matter where you search whether it’s department stores Neiman Marcus or Saks fifth or even the Stella McCartney Boutique, you are going to get stuck on the waiting list for this Ladybird Boston. That is unless your name is Louise Redknapp (pictured below). Yeah, the lucky woman got her hands on the hot red patent Stella McCartney’s Ladybird Appaloosa Boston. Kate Spade | Bandipur Thea | View!
There is always a story behind each of Kate Spade’s collect lines. For this collection Kate Spade was inspired by Bandipur, India’s first Tiger Reservation National Park. All the bags from this collection have some sort of animal print or faux embossed snake print – most of the bags from this collection are long gone off the Kate Spade site, however this one (for some reason) nobody has snatched up yet. This unstructured cotton canvas tote is currently on sale for $206.

If the zebra print of the Bandipur Thea is too wild for your taste then check out the embossed python mini thea. It’s also waiting to be discovered on the clearance racks over at Kate Spade (go!).
