Anya Hindmarch “Girls Need Bags,� but what about the Guys?
Seems kind of odd to me to wear a bag that states the obvious, “girls need bags.� Well, yeah. But my heart goes out to all of her Anya Hindmarch’s beloved man bag fans. Did she forget about them too? I’m sure Rupert is going to be really disappointed.

Tori Spelling Style: Pigtails and YSL Muse Bag
I have never been a follower of Tori Spellings fashion trends. Although when her evil stepmother stole her father’s mass fortune from her when he passed away last year, leaving her broke, she started selling off her designer stuff on her eBay and I admit I was a browser, especially of her handbags and accessories but her clothes were a pass.
Speaking of a pass.. what the heck is with Tori always sporting her hair in pigtails? I haven’t put my hair in this style since I was 9. And Tori, I think is a little too old to be playing with this youngin hairstyle. What do you guys think?
Hairstyle a nay. But what about her purse? Her YSL Muse bag is a nice choice for her, but I can’t help but wonder if she will part with it soon ;)

Jimmy Choo Carolina Oversized Clutch
Jimmy Choo has gone vintage for fall with their new rubbery eel skin Carolina Clutch. I own a few vintage eel skin bags and love them to death, but many of my purse enthusiast friends do not share my love for the texture. Naomi Campbell will design a purse for Hermes
The Birkin bag was named in honor to Jane Birkin, the Kelly bag was named in honor to Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco, and now the Campbell bag to be named after maid-beater Naomi Campbell (?). Interesting if true, but that is in fact the rumor circulating throughout the bag-community.
side note: I am unsure if the name of the new bag is going to be named “Campbell.� This news is still fresh and no details have been published yet in the news.

Kate Spade says goodbye to Kate Spade

The accessory label was founded in 1993 by husband and wife team Kate and Andy Spade. But back in November the two have been talking about calling it quits.
Since Liz Claiborne bought-out Kate Spade it turns out that since then Mrs. Spade has been unhappy with the transition and has decided to exit her own line, immediately. Andy will stay and continue to work until the end of the year.
How can there be a Kate Spade label without the creativity of Kate Spade? Anyone think this will last or die off now that it’s under the Liz Claiborne umbrella?

Snapped by the paparazzi, it’s the blonde-beauty Denise Richards with her lovely daughter Sam out on a lunch party with ex-husband Charlie Sheen’s new girlfriend Brooke Mueller in Beverly Hills. Bag for the (I can’t imagine a very fun) occasion was her Hermes Birkin Bag.

The Dolce and Gabbana Miss Loop Leather Drawstring Tote
While hitting the beach over the weekend my bag for the sandy-occasion was the white Dolce and Gabbana Miss Loop Leather Drawstring Tote. Not a bag that I would recommend to those who toss your bag in the sand before you run off and jump in the water, unless you toss it on a towel (which is what I did most of the time). Overall it stayed very clean. The drawstring mouth was an easy-access doorway to all of my beach necessities (tanning lotion, water, towel, sunnies, etc.), which was very convenient and I didn’t have to worry about zippers.
While sitting there with my DG leather bag and doing my purse-observation, it seemed like everyone and their daughters were sporting the wicker the Michael Kors Santorini Bag, and almost everyone was shaking the life out of their bag before entering the building since it picked up so much sand inside the bag as well as stuck in the interwoven wicker. Hum, I think I will stick to my DG Miss Loop (or one of my Juicy Couture Terry Totes).
