Designer Zara Bag Pulled from Store Shelves!
What was Spanish fashion brand Zara thinking when they designed a handbag with a swastika on the print?

Fashion brand Zara is in hot water after a customer pointed out that their latest fall bag is decorated with embroidered bicycles, flowers and a SWASTIKA.

As well as being the Nazi symbol, the swastika is also a religious symbol for Hindus and Buddhists.

After pulling all the bags from store shelves as well as from their online catalog, a spokesperson for the fashion chain quickly released a statement of apology: “We did not realize swastikas appeared on some of the bags. Of course we apologize to anyone who was offended by the bag, and we will be withdrawing it from all our stores.�

Introducing Dooney & Bourke Plaid and Patched Plaid Collections
More plaid coming your way from the teen-targeted brand Dooney & Bourke. Within the last month or so DB added two new collections to their family, the Plaid and the Patched Plaid.

The plaid line comes in the (boring-)beige colored plaid print but is available in multiple leather trim colors to choose from (black, rouge, saddle, dark chocolate, brown, or ivy). On the other hand, there is the multicolored plaid print pieces patched together for the other new line.

Like most other DB bags, the price range falls anywhere from $45 for the Flap Wristlet and on up to $300 for the Domed Satchel.

Heidi Klum Handbags at Monsoon Accessorize
Back in March Bag Bliss revealed the news that the brilliant 19-year-old British runway model Lily Cole, designed an array of vibrant rainbow colored bags for the company Accessorize (Monsoon’s sister company). Since that line sold out, Monsoon started a new model-designed line, and this time they picked the 34-year-old Project Runway host Heidi Klum.

Here is two of the top Heidi Klum for Accessorize bags featured on their site, the Poiret Ombre and the PVC Boxy Bag. The Poiret is pretty fun bag, dressed with multicolored embroidered beadwork. While the PVC Boxy Bag is more simple and less trendy, dressed in cream-colored pvc with a fold-over lip. Both bags are designed with long comfortable straps and a spacious interior.

Best part, these bags can be found on the accessorize site where they retail for under $100! To be exact, the Poiret Ombre Bag retails for $80, while the PVC Boxy costs only $50.

Bag Bliss hearts the Fendi Love Letter Clutch
I fell in love with the Fendi Love Letter Clutch back when I first spotted Delfina Delettrez (Daughter of Fendi designer Silvia Venturini Fendi) with the silver logo on black version.

That was a while ago. So long in fact, I was beginning to get worried that it sold out before I could even get a chance to rediscover it. Well finally, while browsing the virtual halls of nap I spotted the Fendi Love oversized clutch in the wood brown leather w/ multi-color sequin logo version. Unfortunately Delfina’s black and silver one isn’t available at this time, but keep checking back, I’m sure one will pop up for this up-and-coming fall season.

side note: This newbie comes with a detachable shoulder strap in case you just feel like toting it around in hand – it looks a lot better detached. Also according to nap this clutch is big enough to hold your laptop – that would be one fancy laptop bag.
