Remember with the monogramming you have to tack on an additional $310. Personally I could resist the recycle symbol, it makes the bag look like a cheap $5 grocery sack, and just go with my initials.

The Fendi Paillette Spy Bag
Every season since the birth of the Spy Bag a couple years ago, Fendi has time-and-time again reintroduced this (once called) “It Bagâ€? only with a new dressing, and every season there is just one new design that leaves me questioning, “who would buy such a bag?”. The new loud design of the Fendi Spy handbag is decorated with a random collection multicolored leather paillettes channeling down the front and rear of the classic soft peddle-grained leather Fendi Spy bag. The rest of the design is pretty much the same as all the other Spy bags with the braided leather shoulder straps with thorn-like knots, hidden mirrored compartment in loop of flap closure, secret coin purse inside flap, signature zucca jacquard lining, flat bottom, and finished off with the logo-engraved silver metal hardware. Only difference is that the price of this new Paillette Purse is going to set you back almost triple of what the traditional Spy would – retails for a whopping $4,890

Same Designer Purse but Different Price: Jimmy Choo Tube Clutch
Loving the brand-new winter white Jimmy Choo Pal Tube Clutch, well wait a minute, don’t press that checkout button just yet, until you hear what I have discovered.

While browsing the “What’s New� section of net-a-porter I discovered the “just released� slender white Tube clutch by Jimmy Choo. And being as how I am a frequent visitor to the site, and often find myself scoping out the sale section for some sweet deals, I noticed this new purse looks a lot like another by J.C. in the markdown section. They must be Choo-twins. Both of the white patent leather tube-shaped clutches feature the signature Jimmy Choo gold designer clasp fastening at the top with a gold-tone frame. The only difference is the interior, gut of the purse. The newbie for winter features a satin lining, however the older style is lined with camel suede lining with a lilac grosgrain trim. Not much of a difference in looks, but a huge difference when it comes to the price. That’s a 30% difference!

How many times have you showed up to a dinner party or gone to the grocery store only to see someone with the exact same handbag only feet away?! This actually just happened to me today while I was standing in line at the post office with my black gsh balenciaga city, when I noticed the lady behind me had the exact same bag as me! Come on. Freddy & Ma tackle this problem that many purse addicts face daily, by letting you design your own rare purse.

At Freddy & Ma design your own one of a kind handbag, and it’s all done in few simple steps…

First, what are you looking for? A kiss-lock closure purse, handheld clutch, hobo, shoulder bag, tote, etc, all you have to do is pick out your favorite of the 10 styles available.

I choose Cape Fear Bowler for this example because I love the shape. Did you know you this bag could comfortably fit your lap top in there? Also the long shoulder straps are totally a plus for me when looking for a day bag, especially for one that’s toting my laptop.

Second, choose the color for the leather trim. Your choices are ink, marshmallow, cork beige, chocolate, or dark crimson red.

Next step, choose from 200+ patterns available. So many to choose from, which makes this step the hardest.

If you changed your mind on the trim color, its super simple to change without back tracking, check out the drop down in the upper right corner. Also you can narrow things down by browsing newly added designs, most popular, by designer, seasonal, and so on.

Next step, if you want to change the color of the panels, this is the step to do so. We love our bag just the way it is so we aren’t going to spend much time on this step. Now on to the final step..

Last step, hardware color. I am a huge fan of silver hardware. Gold is nice, but I wear more silver and white gold.
