Designer Purse Deal: Marc Jacobs Stone Beale Bag
I’ve resisted posting about this bag because I knew it was destined to show up in the sale section.. it was just a matter of time. I’m not calling this bag ugly, I actually think it’s rather lovely in this blush pink version as compared to its twin versions available in black or dark brown.

This last season art deco style bag appeared on the fall 2007 runway. So now that it’s mid-winter Barneys is making way for all the colorful new spring 2008 purses. Out with the old and in with the new. Which is great news for you MJ fans who don’t care if its last season’s style.

Yves Saint Laurent Raspail Canvas Tote
Art becomes fashion with Yves Saint Laurent’s freshly painted new Raspail Canvas Tote. Sort of reminds me of the vintage Moschino Dripping Chocolate Bag that was designed with (as the name suggests) chocolate pouring down the white marshmallow body (yummy). YSL’s newbie features fresh red paint spilling down the white canvas body like a piece of art. Love it!

Lauren Conrad (for Linae Pelle) Does Cynthia Rowley
When MTV’s The Hills star Lauren Conrad was designing the latest collection for brand Linae Pelle, I wonder if she was inspired by Cythia Rowley’s designs or was it just a coincidence. Because I can’t help but notice the LC clutch looks quite similar to Cynthia Rowley’s Martha purse. These bags are pretty close to being considered identical, or at least belonging to the same family. Both oversized clutches are designed in a simple flap over clutch style and feature a thick gold chunky chain detail as the main focus.

The Cynthia Rowley purse is slightly longer by 4″, but both bags are the same width. Price wise, you can find the Cynthia Rowley designer bag at Shopbop for $195, or you can save a few dollars and snag the look-a-like Lauren Conrad Linae Pelle purse for $145 at LPcollection.
