Goldenbleu Katie Ruched Clutch (amazing deal)

Don’t forget, eLuxury doesn’t charge sales taxes either, (unless you reside in the states of California or Tennessee). Among their sale items section, I spotted the Katie Ruched Clutch by Goldenbleu. Personally, I don’t see anything amazing about this clutch. The Katie clutch is an evening piece I would only snatch up off of a sales rack, since I don’t think I would pay full retail price for this accessory. I like the dark patent leather, and the gold hardware of choice, combination. The pleats are cute, they give this clutch character. One thing I do adore is suede, and inside the Katie, you can find pretty suede lining. One thing Goldenbleu forgot to put on this clutch is some kind of handle or strap. Personally, after a while, I get annoyed with handheld clutches. They could have at least tucked a small chain inside, which would develop into a wristlet or something. Would you gals carry this clutch? Whether you would or wouldn’t one thing for sure is, this clutch is a major steal!

Carlos Falchi Croc Clutch
If you head on over to the Neiman Marcus website, you will be presented with a new ad featuring a gorgeous exotic Croc Clutch by Carlos Falchi. As soon as I visited, I was so drawn to the eye-catching sky blue clutch, which is one of the two colors shown in their advertisement. When I saw this piece, I automatically had thoughts of warm, tropical surroundings. The sky blue is fresh and perfectly fit for the upcoming seasons. I also love the outer crocodile exterior as exotic materials are a hot trend. What’s also wonderful about this piece is the convienient cutout handles so it can easily be carried like a handheld purse.
And of course, this one comes with an out-of-budget price tag of $2,550, for me anyways. So it looks like I won’t be sporting this lovely clutch anytime soon. But it is a normal price tag for an authentic piece made of crocodile skin. And speaking of skin, it comes in three different colors which are sky blue, black and vanilla, which is more of a tan. I think that the sky blue is what makes the clutch eye-catching. The other two shades are a little too boring for my taste. I don’t even think that I would have clicked on the ad if the sky blue purse wasn’t one of the main features. But anyways, the new Croc Clutch is now readily available for order over at Neimans, and would make a great addition to any collection.
Out of all the designer bags out there, Lanvin season-after-season always ranks at the top for me.

Coach Kiki Hobo
Fringe. What do you think about when you hear the word “fringe”? For me, I think about my mom’s suede fringe jacket from her free-lovin’ adolescence. I remember borrowing it for Hippie-Day for my high school’s Pep Week. It was soft, supple, and a rich chestnut brown. I wore ripped up bell-bottom jeans and I remember all of my friends spent the day drawing pictures all over them with colorful markers. Was that a rainbow on my butt?
New for Spring 2008, Coach has come out with this new fringed bag for their Soho Collection called the Kiki Hobo. The border is trimmed with a long flowing fringe, but the fringe is not as offensive as some of the fringe disasters I have seen in the fashion world (Louis Vuitton, what were you thinking when you made that Multicolor Fringed Speedy back in 2006?). Now I understand that this bag is not for everyone, but I think it has a certain hippie-chic feeling about it that gives it an interesting character. It may even be cute if paired with the right outfit. The only drawback is its expensive price tag… which is becoming quite typical of Coach these days.
