With so many vibrant shades of blue to choose from this season, I think I’ve found the perfect blue hue that suits my taste. The new Totally Turnlock Lady L Satchel from MbMJ comes in a deep blue color called midnight. I’m really loving this darker blue because not only is it great for a summery nautical theme, but it can also be worn year round. I’ve seen a ton of electric blues and turquoise colors that are strictly for Spring and Summer. But the Lady L Satchel in midnight would be great for any season. And for a price tag of $448, I think that for those on a budget, like myself, this is a great investment alternative to blowing accessory allowances on a handbag that will only be worn for a few months out of the year.

Not only do I love the deep midnight blue colored leather, but I also like the minimal gold hardware details, including the turnlock closure on the front. I think the gold metal and darker blue leather really compliment each other. Another huge plus is that the straps are long enough to allow comfortable wear over the shoulder. And this bag would definitely be able to hold everything I need to carry since it measures 11 1/4″H x 15 3/4″W x 5 1/2″D. It is also available in earth and grass.

Prada Vitello Daino Mini Hobo Purse
Don’t you just love a nice comfy hobo? I sure do, and apparently so does Prada. The luxury brand introduces to us the Vitello Daino Mini Hobo. At first I thought this bag looked a bit too simple in design, but its simplicity didn’t affect the fact that this hobo is really stunning, in my opinion. I actually love how straightforward this hobo is, it’s definitely roomy enough for your every day essentials, (well at least for my essentials it is). On this bag, you can find a single flat and thick shoulder strap. With that said, I imagine this hobo being a pick-me-up-and-throw-me-over-your-shoulder bag. One thing you will not find on this Prada is exaggerating embellishments, studs, plates, or logos. Instead, you’ll find nice smooth calfskin leather. I adore the color of the leather, it’s such a pretty metallic gold, and the shiny gold-plated hardware of choice really does compliment wonderfully with the dyed leather. It gives off such a tasteful and classy look! I will mention that this hobo is also available in black Vitello leather, although I feel that the darker version is not as stunning as the metallic version is. Everyone says that the watch is one of the first things that you notice when you go into a meeting (along with shoes). When you reach over to shake the others hand, you can’t help but look down and spot that solid piece of expensive wrist candy. This may be mostly true for males than females. Sure I check out the watch, but I also have to take a glance at the whole package before me: shoes, attire, jewelry and of course the handbag.

Way back in October, Jennifer posted about the Louis Vuitton Mahina Bags (XL and XXL). These gorgeous bags feature the perforated LV monogram pattern, very similar in appearance to the earlier Onatah Collection. Interestingly, the Louis Vuitton Mahina Collection is named after a Polynesian Lunar Deity.

Back then, however, only the XL and XXL sizes were available. These bags are wonderful, but my goodness, they are HUGE! So what if you like this collection, but you are looking for a more “normal” sized bag? Well, if this sounds like you, then you’re in luck! The Mahina XS is here and its even available in metallics!
