Versace is one of those designer brands that carry handbags that I usually tend to stay away from. Its not because I dislike their designs or their handbags in general, its mainly for the fact that they’re a bit too flashy and detailed for my taste. Versace never fails to add metal hardware, giant studs, and Medusas throughout their bags. Sometimes… well, actually most of the time, I feel that they get a bit too excited and carried away on those poor leather bags of theirs. I swear, sometimes I think Versace’s bag look like top-secret weapons or like accessories from the future. But of course I’ve also ran into their simple and less flashy handbag designs, which I find more appealing to my taste.

Check out the embossed patent leather tote in plum. I really don’t know if I dislike it or not. I mean, yeah it’s got those sharp “killer” looks that would make me nervous carrying it, but I do dig the deep plum hue found along the bag. What do you gals think about this Versace? Do you find this bag to be stunning and elegant? Or a bit too much on the Goth side? This is definitely a bag that must be seen and tried on in person, and until I get to see it in real life, I’ll just stay neutral to my likings towards this Versace.

The Francesco Biasia Dana Bag

The Francesco Biasia Dana Bag
Berry. That is what they call the color of this Francesco Biasia Dana Bag. Berry? Nope, all I see is a juicy candy apple red! Mmmmmmm, yummy! And, you know, red is such a great color — especially when it comes to handbags. A pretty red patent handbag, like this one, can liven up even the dullest outfit without hurting the eyes of any onlookers. Personally, I think red handbags are going to be the must-have accessory this coming fall season. And if they aren’t, then they should be!

Aside from its awesome color, I find the overall style of the Francesco Biasia Dana Bag to be quite appealing as well. The pleating and slouchiness offer a nice counterbalance to the brightness of this handbag. The laced handle and tassles complete the look, giving the bag a bit of a tough-girl appearance. This would definitely make a great everyday bag. Just pair it with a black coat and you’re good to go!

The Francesco Biasia Dana Bag measures 12″ x 14″ x 6″ and it retails for the very reasonable price of $388. It has a zippered closure and three interior pockets. Check it out over at Pink Mascara. And don’t forget they offer free shipping everyday on all orders over $150!

Dolce & Gabbana Miss Catch Satchel
Dolce & Gabbana Miss Catch Satchel
Louis Vuitton has always been my choice for handbags but recently I have my eye on another designer, Dolce & Gabbana. I have Dolce & Gabbana eye glasses and I just recently purchased Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses, now I’m craving a Dolce & Gabbana handbag. The other day I found myself searching on websites to find the perfect Dolce & Gabbana handbag, and it was then that I stumbled on a beautiful bag on eLUXURY. I bring to you the Dolce & Gabbana Miss Catch Satchel. The Miss Catchel Satchel is beautiful in every way, shape and form. The satchel has gorgeous silver hardware, a double zip top, detachable buckled leather strap, and it is complete with a logo plate dangling from the handle.

I’m obsessed with satchels, and this satchel is to die for in my opinion. The color is gorgeous, and the over all structure of the handbag is stunning. What is even better about the handbag is that it’s on sale at eLUXURY. The decadent handbag retailed for $2,750, but it is now on sale for a not so bad $1,650. Want even better news? eLUXURY is having an extra 25% off of “sale” handbags. This lovely handbag comes out to an even better $1,257, but you only have until Friday to get an extra 25% off any red line bag on eLUXURY. I’m seriously considering ordering this bag!

If you’re looking for an affordable designer piece that’s leather, roomy, and stylish, you should definitely check out the Tribute Bag by YSL. And now there is a new hot color out, which is dark blue in patent leather. I absolutely love this color because it will go with anything and the shade is just right; not too bright and not too dark. In my opinion, this would be an awesome year-round piece to wear. And the color itself would definitely stand out in a crowd. Also, the shiny patent leather makes it all the better.

The Tribute bag is made of glossy calfskin leather with minimal golden harware applications, which makes is really simple. But I really like the gold-toned hardware because it goes great with that gorgeous shade of blue. One great feature about this piece is that the top has a magnetic snap closure and has partial side zip closures for easy access. And those side zippers will really come in handy since this one measures 17″ x 16.5″ and you will have to dig for what you need. Anyways, if you really like this bag, you’d better hurry on over to Bluefly because it probably won’t last long at a sale price of only $772.

I’ve officially found the least expensive Chloe bag out in the market. How “cheap” you might ask? Well, it holds a price tag of $135, and yes, it is authentic! With a retail price as low as that, of course a reason should be given. Is it a factory reject or a return? Not exactly, but let’s just say that this bag isn’t as classy or couture as the other Chloe’s I usually tend to drool over. Meet the See by Chloe, and just in case you forget, its name is advertised throughout the front of the tote for reference. Instead of finding luxurious Chloe leather, red canvas is the material of choice. Personally, I don’t hate this bag, nor am I going to snatch one up. Sure I can think of a couple of ways to put this bag to use such as: a book bag, an overnight bag, or a tote to sport to the beach. But with a price tag as steep as $135 for a solid ‘ole canvas tote, I know I can find a couple of canvas totes with cuter designs at my local mall for a lot less. Victoria’s Secret Pink anyone??! Of course if you’re a fan, remember it’s only $135! My only question right now is, I wonder if they come with a dust bag?
