Rebecca Minkoff Rendezvous Patent Clutch
Rebecca Minkoff — a name that has been circulating around the Bag Forum a lot lately. In fact, for many TBF members, a Rebecca Minkoff bag is truly one worth coveting! So why is there so much love for Rebecca Minkoff handbags? Is it the gorgeous colors? Or the super soft leather? Or is it the amazingly comfortable, yet chic, style that can be found in each of these handbags? If I were to ask my fellow TBF’ers, I’m sure they would say it is all of these things (and much, much more)!

Now everyone is familiar with the Morning After Bag (the bag that Minkoff designed for actress Jenna Elfman). This bag, along with many of her other styles, are known for being big and roomy. So when I saw this Rendezvous Clutch, I was a little bit surprised. Not because Rebecca Minkoff hasn’t made small bags before, because she has. But because she somehow made this clutch the size of, what I would consider, a normal handbag. I realize that magazine clutches were hot for awhile, and maybe they still are. But when I look at this bag, I find myself wanting to stick a shoulder strap on it. Perhaps its the fact that it has metal feet and a zippered closure (as opposed to a fold-over style). Aside from this little set back though, I do find the purple patent leather to be quite delightful. But then again, who doesn’t like purple patent? Yummy!

The Rebecca Minkoff Rendezvous Patent Clutch measures 14″ x 11″ x 3″ and it retails for $375. The interior features two multifunction pockets and the closure comes complete with an actual lock and key. Available in various colors, but you can find it in Purple over at shopbop.com.

Prada Violet Stripes Lambskin Bag
For this upcoming fall, purple hued bags are definitely going to be a hot trend. I’ve already seen so many different shades and textures of the color, ranging from glossy, crinkled deep purple to buttery, smooth vibrant purple leather. And here we have the Prada Violet Stripes lambskin bag, which is a gorgeous tone. I like this purse because it’s simple, but really stands out from the violet and textured leather with stripes. Also, I love the golden Prada logo because I think it’s a nice little accent to the purple.

This beauty is made of supple lambskin, which means it’s extra soft. Though at the same time, it’s also extra delicate and can scratch easily. But really, who doesn’t like soft buttery leather? Anyways, it has a magnetic snap closure at the top, which adds a little secuirty. Though I’d personally prefer a zippered closure. It measures 16″ x 13″ x 5.5″, which is a great everyday size to fit what you need to carry. Overall, I’m really loving the style of this Prada peice. Marc Jacobs Dr. Q Grace Bag
I believe that a great handbag should be comfortable, durable and if it carries a designer name, then that’s definitely a plus! Something I just love about the Marc by Marc Jacobs line is the fact that its accessories are crafted from excellent and durable quality. I recently learned that the Dr. Q Grace Bag is online exclusively on eLuxury (dot com). What do you gals think about this bag? As I look at it, I think its great. Comfortable shoulder straps, a silver metal logo plate, and a sheen grained leather body are all great features found on the Grace. You will have to dig a bit into your pockets since this piece does hold a $428 price tag, but for this bag, you’re sure to get your moneys worth.
