L.A.M.B Signature Wiltshire Bag
Any of you gals fans of Mrs. Gwen Stefani? She sure does have some catchy tunes, but I’m not too convinced if I’m ready to own a piece of her L.A.M.B line. I’ve never disliked her line, as a matter of fact; I find her collection rather interesting. The truth is, her energetic style isn’t really mine, so for that reason, I can’t seem to give into a L.A.M.B bag just yet. The Soft Signature Wiltshire Bag is a newbie to me, and upon viewing it, I liked it. It’s casual yet it has a sporty feeling to it, and we’re talking about a signature printed tote bag with the brands’ name running vertically through its center (something I would definitely avoid all together). I dig the double leather handles, the detachable coin pouch, and the fact that this tote has the perfect amount of color, allowing this piece to be suitable for the fall season. I can’t possibly forget to mention the $295 retail price for this tote. Why so affordable you might ask? It’s the material of choice for this bag, which happens to be PVC. What do you ladies think about this L.A.M.B tote? Do you dig the smoky ombré design?

Designer Zac Posen is a native New Yorker who emerged as fashion’s newest star after launching his eponymous collection of ready-to-wear in 2002. Posen attended Brooklyn’s St. Ann’s School for the arts and a pre-college program at the Parsons School of Design in New York in addition to Central St. Martin’s College in London. Internships included a stint at the esteemed Metropolitan Museums Costume Institute under the tutelage of curator Richard Martin, two years at Nicole Miller and later served as a design assistant at Tocca. In 2001, Posen earned a spot in Gen Art’s “Fresh Faces in Fashion” show putting the young designer on the fast track and in 2004, he earned the CFDA Swarovski-Perry Ellis Award for Ready-to-Wear. Natalie Portman and Claire Danes are a few of the young Hollywood ingénues that helped launch Zac Posen into what has now become a global luxury lifestyle brand that presents four ready-to-wear collections per year. The Zac Posen line is found in top retailers all over the world including Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Harvey Nichols, Holt Renfrew, Vakko and now, Gilt Groupe.

Man-Bag: Prada Canvas Messenger
The other day my co-worker Johnathan (who happens to be a fashionista himself) approached me from a distance. I knew he had news to share, as I was able to pick up the excitement glowing all over him. It was that “new handbag” vibe that us bagista’s give off as we walk out in public carrying our latest acquisition. Upon viewing his new messenger styled man-bag (from a distance), I would have never guessed it was a piece of couture, until I saw the oversized Prada logo engraved right up front. It was a good size but a bit plain, definitely masculine, but not eye-catching. I speak for myself when I say that I hate how many of my non-logoed bags don’t get the attention they deserve, as if they must scream “DESIGNER” in order for them to receive a second glimpse. Then again, the community of handbag lovers seems to expand by the day, feeding into the male population as well. I’ll buy a bag because I love it, with no intentions to please others. Just like my buddy digged the tan jacquard canvas, brown leather straps, and gold-toned hardware found on his new Prada.

Louis Vuitton Damier Graphite Collection – Now Available at Eluxury!
Listen up Bag Bliss readers! The Louis Vuitton Damier Graphite Collection is now available at Eluxury! These bags have been receiving a lot of attention over at TBF. Everyone wanted to know when the bags would be available and how much they were retailing for. And do you know what the funny thing was? These were all women inquiring about these bags for themselves. It is true that they are “man bags”, but I think my fellow TBF’ers are on to something. I mean, the Damier print is just gorgeous in this color combination. Now if only Louis Vuitton would produce a Speedy in the Damier Graphite print (Psst… everyone over there at Louis Vuitton headquarters. Are you reading this?). But for now, I think everyone will just have to be satisfied with the styles that are currently available. Hmm, that Tadao would actually make a nice work bag for either a man OR a woman.
