Graham & Spencer Oversized Clutch in Orchid
Dark purple is undoubtedly the most sought after color for Fall 2008. Discussed numerous times over at TBF, this seems to be a favorite color for many people (myself included). Shades of violet, plum, and eggplant have flooded the malls and boutiques. Sweaters, shoes, handbags… you name it! They are all available in one shade of purple or another. But the more I thought about the dark purple trend, the more I realized people have not been mentioning many purple clutches. With clutches being so hot this season, there was no doubt that there were purple ones out there. This leads us to the clutch I have pictured above. A combination of this season’s two hottest trends, introducing the Graham & Spencer Oversized Clutch in Orchid. Personally, I think this clutch is gorgeous! I really can’t find anything I don’t like about it. I love the pleats and the framed top closure. And, of course, I love the large size and the beautiful dark purple color. What more could a girl ask for? I think I may have just died and gone to Heaven. So how does everyone else feel about this clutch? Is it truly the best of both worlds?

The Graham & Spencer Oversized Clutch is available in Orchid. It is enormous, measuring 17.5″ x 9″ x 3″. It retails for $429. Love this model’s entire look? Both the dress (from Catherine Malandrino) and clutch can be found at Revolve Clothing.

MICHAEL Michael Kors Astor Large Drawstring Satchel
Michael Kors has always been one of my favorite handbag designers. When I don’t have loads of money to drop on a bag, I always see something at Michael Kors that is not only stylish but also affordable. One of the newest Michael Kors handbags that I think is cute is the MICHAEL Michael Kors Astor Large Drawstring Satchel. I have never been one into Drawstring handbags but this handbag is actually catching my eye. It looks like it would be a great casual day bag. I couldn’t see wearing this bag or at night or during the winter for that matter, but there is no doubt that this bag is beautiful. The handbag comes in two colors vanilla and luggage. I personally love the vanilla handbag and the great part about the handbag is that it has protective metal feet on the bottom of the bag. All in all, the MICHAEL Michael Kors Astor Large Drawstring Satchel would be a great everyday especially if you’re like me and live in a state with heat all year round!

The MICHAEL Michael Kors Astor Large Drawstring Satchel retails for $398. Compared to some other high end designers, and with a staggering economy thats actually not that bad for a handbag these days. Especially, if it’s a cute handbag like the MICHAEL Michael Kors Astor Large Drawstring Satchel a pricetag of $398 doesn’t seem that bad.

Louis Vuitton Etoile Sarah Wallet
How much is too much for a wallet? I guess it all depends on whom you ask. Sometimes I feel like splurging on one of the many found on my wish list, but most of the times, I feel like for the amount of one great wallet, I can practically buy myself a bag for the same price. At the moment I have a great Burberry wallet, it’s roomy, it zips all around, and it durable enough to where I don’t really need a wallet. While doing a bit of browsing over at eLuxury, I spotted this Louis Vuitton newbie, meet the Monogram Canvas Etoile Sarah Wallet. Ladies, I Want This! I can admit I’m a bit too chicken to carry a “bubbly” handbag around, but an awesome accessory as this I can definitely do! It’s pretty quilted design and extra stitched details make this piece stand out among the classic monogram Vuitton wallets. Of course all eyes are on the engraved brands name found right above the new turn lock mechanism, ahh… I just love that extra touch of gold bling found on this piece. Of course, shiny things do cost a pretty penny as the retail price of this piece is currently at $895!

Dolce & Gabbana Miss Rouche Distressed Satchel

Dolce & Gabbana Miss Rouche Distressed Satchel
Quick, somebody find this bag an iron! I can relate to the creased style Dolce & Gabbana presents to us fashionista’s this season as this looks like something my boyfriend would wear; clean, right out of the dryer, and yes, wrinkled! I think this concept is fun, and thank goodness that the material of choice is distressed leather, as distressed leather seems like the best choice to wrinkle up and still look fab. Pretty feminine ruffles and the dangling Dolce & Gabbana plaque are two key details found on the Miss Rouche Satchel. Off white leather with silver hardware details give this piece an extra clean look and personally, I find it quite boring. I will note that the cool interior lining of wild animal prints actually make up for the bags simple hues. Carrying variety is important in my book and Dolce & Gabbana wants you to feel comfortable carrying this piece, fortunately, they applied both round leather handles and a detachable shoulder strap to meet the consumers’ convenience. Overall, I think this piece is great but I’m not looking to add this piece to my collection just yet, as I can’t justify splurging $2,195 on this satchel. Ladies, what’s your input on this?

Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis Bel Air Bag

I love the clutch trend.

This is the perfect day-to-night accessory, for any gal who doesn’t go for the big bag. Where it as a shoulder purse during the day, then when the sun goes down, ditch the chain, and carry as an evening clutch.

Dressed in the signature Monogram-embossed coated Vernis leather and features polished golden brass hardware. Also features a removable link chain shoulder strap with flat leather handle and clasp attachments, and the signature front plaque with logo engraving. The mouth of this flap top purse is kept shut with snap closure underneath. When opened, discover the super roomy interior compartment, a flat pocket, six card slots, and zipped coin pouch. Available in Amarante and juicy Pomme d’Amour.

Louis Vuitton Rodeo Drive Purse

Louis Vuitton Rodeo Drive Purse
Louis Vuitton has just released a gorgeous variety of handbags and one of those bags is the Monogram Vernis Rodeo Drive. I have never been a fan of the Vernis line but the Rodeo Drive caught my eye. The Rodeo Drive reminds me of the Louis Vuitton pochette but a more exquisite version. I absolutely love link chain, which can be removed so that you are able to wear the handbag also as a clutch. Clutches are very in right now and if you able to find a handbag that can be converted into a clutch is winner. The Rodeo Drive also has the little logo engraved plague that has been seen on quite a bit of Louis Vuitton items lately. But you wonder, with the LV logo all over the bag, do we really need the plague? Perhaps the plague is to remind us once again of the fabulous designer that made handbag. Plague or no plague the Rodeo Drive is simply adorable in every way.

The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis Rodeo Drive currently comes in Amarante and Pomme d’Amour, but to me the Rodeo Drive in Amarante is stunning. The Amarante color of the handbag really gives the Rodeo Drive a classy, elegant look. The Louis Vuitton Rodeo Drive is absolutely gorgeous, but as they say, all beautiful things come with a price. The Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis Rodeo Drive is priced at $1,110. Yes, it’s a scary price, but definitely not surprising for Louis Vuitton.
