Yves Saint Laurent Easy Patent Bag

Yves Saint Laurent Easy Patent Bag
I absolutely love patent handbags and I have just found a new love interest in the Yves Saint Laurent Easy Patent Bag. Everything about this handbag is stunning, especially the beige patent leather, which you don’t see too often on patent leather handbags.

My favorite feature of the handbag is actually the shape of the bag. The measurements of the handbag are 15½”W X 12″H, which gives you plenty of room for all your stylish essentials. The Yves Saint Laurent Easy Patent Bag has double straps with a six inch drop and even has a type of clasp on the sides of the purse giving you the option to wear the handbag one of two different ways.

The Yves Saint Laurent Easy Patent Bag can be purchased at Saks Fifth Avenue for $995, which isn’t that bad of a price. Yves Saint Laurent has always been known to have high costing handbags, but I would think the Easy Patent Bag would of been more due to the patent leather.

I personally do not own any handbags by Yves Saint Laurent, but if I had the extra cash lying around I would definitely snatch this handbag up. It’s beautiful, patent leather, and actually not priced that high for an Yves Saint Laurent bag.

Helena de Natalio Handbags by Helen Hoppock

Helena de Natalio Handbags by Helen Hoppock
While browsing around ebags.com I spotted this totally cute shimmery champagne gold Dulce clutch by up-and-coming handbag brand Helena de Natalio, designed by Helen Hoppock.

Helen’s line was created in 2005, inspired-by her work in the Peace Corps with women’s groups in Natalio, Paraguay.

The unique, hand-made, irresistibly soft leather handbags are produced in Buenos Aires, Argentina and are backed by the designer’s socially responsible production guarantee. Helena de Natalio ensures fair labor practices at her factory and even donates a percentage of profits to Argentinean non-profit Ashoka.

The price range is roughly around $90 for a simple wristlet clutch, and up to $370 for a spacious shoulder bag.

Prada Gem Tessuto Pietre Wristlet

I can’t decide if this is beautiful or just plain gaudy. The Prada Tessuto Pietre Wristlet is pretty much a classy wristlet that would definitely stick out in any crowd due to all the crystals it has featured all over it. My question is though, are the crystals beautiful or just a little too much?

The Prada Tessuto Pietre Wristlet comes in two colors: pink and purple. To me, the crystals make the pink version look a tad bit tacky, but yet on the purple version they look absolutely gorgeous! The crystals are featured all over smooth nylon and has a buckled wrist strap with a three inch drop.

The wristlet has a zip top closure and features the “Prada” signature logo right in the center in the front of the wristlet. It is also made in Italy, but that is of no shock being that Prada is the designer of this wristlet.

The Prada Tessuto Pietre Wristlet can currently be purchased over at Saks Fifth Avenue for $540. Yes, that may seem like a lot for a wristlet but most high end designers do charge quite a bit for their wristlets. Some people, like myself, maybe ask themselves, “Why pay over $500 for a wristlet when I can put that money towards a new handbag?” I couldn’t agree anymore, but I must say that the Prada Tessuto Pietre Wristlet is quite the eye catcher for a wristlet.

Anya Hindmarch Disco Box Clutch

Anya Hindmarch Disco Box Clutch
Disco fever has hit over at Anya Hindmarch headquarters, meet this tribute to the past, the Disco Box Clutch! Anya Hindmarch, known for her bright, bold designs and pretty leather goods presents to us something rather… odd. So here’s a clutch that is not only an essential holder but can also double as a decent-sized mirror for its owner. So a combination of the two most popular metallic’s form this pint-sized box, what do you gals think about this? Personally, I believe this piece should have made its debut… in the 70’s! I apologize to any fans of this clutch, but unless I find this sitting lonely at the clearance section, (that’s with an extremely reduced price tag of course) this glimmery piece won’t be found pictured within my bag collection. This petite accessory measures in at 7” x 4” x 1” and carries a hefty price tag of $460! With that kind of money, I’d rather invest on a handbag, or a more contemporary looking boxed clutch. Perfect for the retro chic, but I think I’ll pass this one up myself.

Love this? If so, you can shop Anya Hindmarch goods over at: *NET-A-PORTER.COM* or the Anya Hindmarch Site

Vanessa Hudgens Style: JJ Winters Grey Suede Fringe Bag

Vanessa Hudgens Style: JJ Winters Grey Suede Fringe Bag

Vanessa Hudgens is a total fan when it comes to fringe handbags. All last season she was spotted with her totally cool black fringe Botkier Morgan Satchel, but so far this season she has left it hibernating in it’s sleeper, and moved on to this grey suede bag by JJ Winters.

She has been all over town with it! It’s definitely her lattest fringe obsession.

And Vanessa isn’t the only one spotted with this bag.. Haylie Duff, Ashley Tisdale, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan each have the JJ Winters Grey Suede Fringe Bag. And you too can pick one up over at Singer22.

Right now it’s available for pre-order, expected to ship in 2 weeks.

ps. If you want to score the Botkier Morgan, I would check out the Botkier sample sale over at Gilt Groupe on thursday the 29th. I’m not totally 100% sure if that bag is going to be there, but it is a possibility.

Botkier James Tote

After Jennifer’s wonderful interview with Monica Botkier, I found myself falling in love with Botkier all over again. And I bet all you Bag Bliss readers out there are just as anxious as I am to see the new Spring 2009 collection hit the stores. But wait no more because it looks like the first of these new styles have already become available online. One such style is this lovely Botkier James Tote. Like the James Satchel mentioned in the interview, this bag features gorgeously soft pleats and flowing tassels. It also has a drawstring closure and rolled double handles. However, this version is a little larger, measuring 15″ x 12″ x 7.5″. It’s the perfect size for carrying everything you might need throughout the day! It is also a little bit pricier, retailing for approximately $50 more. You can pick one of these babies up at Nordstroms, where it is listed as the Botkier Soft Pleated Tote (Don’t ask me, I haven’t the slightest clue why). It is available in Deep Purple, Cocoa, or Black.

COACH Penelope OP Art Suitcase

coach-penelope-op-art-suitcase
What type of luggage do you Bagista’s carry? Unfortunately, the most attractive feature found on my carry-on is the fact that it comes in my favorite color of black. I’ve always wanted to give into designer luggage, but I’m not your typical traveler, with that said, spending big bucks on an everyday handbag seems much more reasonable for me. The All-American brand Coach introduces a new good featured within their new Penelope line; meet the OP Art Suitcase. I don’t recall Coach doing suitcases in the past, briefcases for men, yes, but not luggage. So here’s something really new to Coach; OP art canvas lines the exterior of the case as black leather trim decors it as well. Some of my favorite details includes a lock closure consisting of a numerical combination and the bold hot pink interior which adds that perfect finishing touch to this travel piece. Luggage prices can run pretty high and this Coach leaves no exceptions. You can find the medium version for $1,200 or for $300 more, you can get the largest case which measures in at 27’’ x 18” x 8.5”! Ladies, what’s your input toward Coach’s new Suitcase, Do you like this?
