When I think of Lauren Merkin, I think of clutches, clutches, and more clutches. Typically though, the Lauren Merkin clutches I have seen were made of embossed leather. Occasionally, I’ve come across a satin or tweed design. But lace? Nope, never. So it’s no wonder that the Lauren Merkin Corded Lace ‘Lotte’ Clutch caught my attention. The lace is certainly unexpected, but I think it is absolutely adorable! I love how the black lace is accented with white cording. Plus the pleats give the clutch a nice softened look. I think this clutch would look great paired with a white or black cotton sundress. It would be perfect for a casual summer wedding! Or, if you wanted to it wear for a night out with the girls, you could pair it with an eyelet lace halter top! Cute!

The Lauren Merkin Corded Lace ‘Lotte’ Clutch features an envelope-style flap closure, complete with hidden magnetic “snap”. The clutch is lined with a pretty lining that almost looks (to me, anyway) like seersucker. And don’t let the pictures fool you, this clutch is actually pretty decent in size. The D:light is such an amazing innovation – it’s a bracelet, made of 171 Swarovski sparkling crystals, but then turns into a watch at the touch of a button.

Lately, I have been drooling over Carla Mancini bags and I literally can’t get enough of them. The latest Carla Mancini bag I’m in love with is the Top Zip Quilt Chain Bag. Everything about this handbag is absolutely beautiful, especially the color!

Dressed to catch some serious stares from every direction is former Playboy Playmate Shauna Sand who apparently caught some serious paparazzi attention in West Hollywood. Did she go clubbing or was it a pajama party she was at instead? Who knows? Apparently, the only taste we have in common is our like for the French brand Louis Vuitton. I’ve always debated which Vuitton clutch made the best night out in town bag. Shauna Sand’s pick happens to be the classic Monogram Canvas Eva.

Such an adorable little clutch the Eva is. It also happens to be a real popular accessory among many ladies. What’s not to like about it? The 8.8” x 5.1” x 1.8” dimensions can surprisingly hold a good amount of quick essentials, and it’s sleek design is nice enough to carry through day and night. I’d have to say my favorite detail about the Eva is the two different straps that can be found on this piece. You have a cowhide leather strap that can be worn across the body or use the gold chain link strap to carry the Eva snuggly on the arm.

Prada, what have you guys been up to lately? To tell you the truth, I haven’t been paying a whole lot of attention. They make some of the nicest handbags I have ever seen, I just wish they had a little more pizazz to them. The same shapes keep reappearing year after year, with just a tiny little change here or there. I don’t know about you Bag Bliss readers out there, but I would really like to see some fresh new designs from this designer.

Now I’m not saying Prada isn’t good at providing their customers with the basics. They make wonderful nylon cosmetic cases and other small accessories. Cute or inappropriately disturbing, you be the judge. Here’s yet another out of the ordinary design by one of my all-time favorite designers, Mr. Marc Jacobs. We all know how brilliantly talented the man can be, but from time to time, things can get crazy over at Marc Jacobs headquarters. Here’s a really good example, introducing, the imaginative Jeeper Peepers Tote for the Marc by Marc Jacobs line. Its concept is simple; we have a vertical striped cotton canvas tote with a pair of juvenile eyeballs looking quirky and confused. What do you make of this design, impressive and creative, or simply strange?

I personally wouldn’t head to my local department store to snatch one of these up, it’s just not my style. But for the gal who doesn’t mind a couple of looks her way, I’m pretty sure this tote will grab much attention as people begin to wonder what exactly is imprinted on your tote bag. Probably not the best style for me, but it would make a perfect book bag for my trend setting, high school sister.
