I have been drooling over zip around wallets lately. They seem so convenient and much easier to handle and carry around than a button wallet. Also, they definitely give you the peace of mind that nothing will ever fall out of your wallet, since the inside is fully closed with the zipper.

One zip around wallet that caught my eye on Zappos was the Marc by Marc Jacobs Softy Large Zip Around. The wallet is simple, but yet it’s stunning. Who knew that such a simple wallet could catch someone’s eye. I think this wallet is eye catching due to the cursive writing on the front of it. The wallet features a logo plate that says, “Marc by Marc Jacobs.”

The wallet comes in two different colors: Black and Pale Grey. My ultimate favorite is the Pale Grey, which is shocking because usually I’m in love with anything that is black leather. I love the Pale Grey so much because it really lets the logo plate stick out. In the black version the logo plate is kind of unnoticeable because of the ultra dark color.

Details of the wallet include: quilted accents; zip around closure; leather interior; credit card slots; and a full length zip pocket.

The Marc by Marc Jacobs Softy Large Zip Around can be purchased at Zappos for $201.95. The price tag seems a little high for a wallet that is so simple, but no one can deny that it’s stunning.

From the Fall 2009 Collection, the Treesje Marley Bag is probably one of my favorite Treesje bags yet. What can I say? I’m a sucker for cute little studs! And I think they work so well on this bag, giving it a nice rocker girl chic vibe. I also love the overall shape and the extra large pleat on the front side of the bag. Plus this bag is pretty versatile, with two ways you can wear it. I’ve got to hand it to Laura and Sheila because I really think they did a nice job on this one. In fact, I think they did a nice job with the entire collection. Studs seem to be the theme throughout and they were added to some of my fellow TBFers’ all-time favorite styles. They look absolutely adorable on the Metro Clutch and Asher! So if you haven’t checked any of these babies out yet, I strongly suggest that you do!

The Treesje Marley Bag measures 15″ x 13″ x 6″. It features both double handles and a detachable shoulder strap. It has been spotted in several different colors, including Turquoise and Coral. It is currently available in Black, however, at Revolve Clothing! The Treesje Marley Bag retails for $635.

I love carrying a big tote to school because I’m able to fit everything I need in it and I don’t have to carry anything else! It’s so great when a bag is big enough to carry all my books, notebooks, lap top and all my other essentials. It definitely is convenient when you can find a bag that can fit everything you need in it for school or even for work.

The Marc by Marc Jacobs Standard Supply Classic Tote-Ally Tote has writing on the front that says, “Marc by Marc Jacobs, Standard Supply, Model # 0221.60, Type: Tote.” I always think it’s tacky for nothing to be on the handbag but big writing that pretty much gives free advertisement to the designer, but on this bag it’s not that bad. I feel like the writing on this tote suits the it well.

Some of the details of the tote include: dual handles; contrast stitching; platform bottom; top zip closure; interior pockets; and interior lining. The measurements of the bag are 14″ (width) x 10 1/2″ (height), which gives you plenty of room for all of your essentials. As stated above, the tote is so spacious that is would be great for work, school, travel, or just on those days where you have more than usual to carry.

The Marc by Marc Jacobs Standard Supply Classic Tote-Ally Tote can be purchased at Zappos for $151.95. It can be purchased in either, Faded Army Green or Washed Ink, which is basically black. Whichever color you choose, this would be a great tote to add to any collection.

Just in: The deal is set. Windsong Brands LLC has bought Carlos Falchi.

WWD has reported that Windsong, who already has brands like Ellen Tracy, Caribbean Joe, Joe’s Jeans and Field & Stream under it’s belt, has high hopes for the Carlos Falchi label. Their goal within the next few years is to turn Falchi, which currently brings in $10 million and increase it to $20 to $30 million within the next few years. Additionally there are plans to extend into men’s accessories and even a leather jacket line.

Falchi will act as chief designer and creative director, and will no longer be involved in operational activities. He will conduct more personal appearances and focus on merchandising.

The signature line with exotic skins starts at about $1,000 and goes up to $40,000 for a large alligator satchel. The average sale is roughly $3,000. Leather bags range from $400 to $800.

One of my favorite handbag designer’s is Michael Kors. Not only is his Michael Kors line of handbags gorgeous, but so are his MICHAEL Michael Kors handbags. MICHAEL Michael Kors handbags are much more affordable and stunning than the ultra expensive Michael Kors line of bags.

At the moment, I am in love with the MICHAEL Michael Kors Beverly Large Shoulder Bag. The bag is drop dead gorgeous, and looks like it would cost much more than the $368 price tag. The handbag is accented with gold tone hardware and even has exterior magnetic-snap flap pockets that compliment the handbag well.

Other details of the handbag include a top zip closure, interior pockets, and logo-print lining. The handbag is available in three different colors: Black; Walnut; and Gold. In my opinion, the color black looks absolutely stunning on this bag, and makes the other colors look less desirable.

The MICHAEL Michael Kors Beverly Large Shoulder Bag can be purchased at Nordstrom for $368 in any of the three colors. The price tag was shocking to me, being that this handbag actually looks like it would cost a pretty penny. I believe $368 to be a great price for this handbag because not only is the bag gorgeous but it’s also stylish.

Lately, Juicy Couture has been doing a fabulous job designing some gorgeous handbags but once in a while there are a few that could be tossed. One of the new Juicy Couture bags that I’m not in love with is the “Lock & Knotted Fringe Marti Shoulder Bag.” I think the main reason I dislike this bag is because it looks like a handbag you could find anywhere with a Juicy Couture metal name plate on the front. There really is nothing special about this handbag.

The Juicy Couture Lock & Knotted Marti Shoulder Bag is available in four different colors: Black; Dk Prepster (pink); Oakbluffs (brown); and Winter White. I do not care for the purse but if I had to pick a color I would probably pick black. I would pick black because what I dislike most about this handbag is the stitching details. In black, the stitching details don’t look as gaudy and tacky.

Some other details of the handbag include a: large flap pocket; half-chain, half-leather strap; studded tassel; grommeted tab; top zip closure; interior pockets; and logo-print lining.

You can purchase the Juicy Couture Lock & Knotted Fringe Marti Shoulder Bag at Nordstrom for $378, which I feel is way too much for this bag. I may be biased about the price because I don’t care for the handbag, but $378 seems a bit much to me for handbag that isn’t anything special.
