I’ve always loved the color pink. Ever since I was little, everything I had or wore had to be pink. I remember, looking forward to going school supply shopping, and seeing what I could get in pink. Back then, it wasn’t that easy finding things in pink. Bookbags were only available in standard colors, and pretty much all school supply was pretty bland. Nowadays, students can get any of their supply in color and even in designer fashion.

Juicy Couture is one of those brands that targets young girls to buy designer school supply. One of their back to school items is the “Quilted Messenger Tote” and I have to admit it’s kind of cute! If I was younger, I would of totally wanted to carry this tote around school.

The only downfall about this tote is that yeah it may be pretty, but what can you actually fit in it? I’m not too sure you can fit a notebook, lap top, or text book in it. If you like to carry your books in your hand, then it would be perfect for you or your child.

What caught my eye about this messenger tote, is the ruffle trim! The tote is already adorable, but for some reason the ruffle trim adds to the “cuteness” of the bag.

It’s gossip girls Leighton and Blake, chit chatting in between the filming of yet another juicy and fashionably filled episode of Gossip Girl. Since the shows debut on the CW, I’ve noticed their chic outfits and dazzling accessories. I might not be the shows biggest fan, but I tune in from time to time to see what great styles they bring and of course, for the handbags.

On the scene of one of the latest episodes, paparazzi shot this pic of Leighton Meester and her beloved Darjeeling Leather Orissa Clutch by L.A.M.B. I wouldn’t call this piece my favorite LAMB clutch of all times, but upon seeing how comfortable Leighton wore this piece, I obtained a second opinion over it. This soft leather clutch arrives with gold toned hardware and pretty contrasting hues. Since I had never seen this piece in person, by simply taking note of its stated dimensions, I feared this piece was a bit too small for my likings. Fortunately, Leighton and her demonstration of the Orissa Clutch, I concluded that this LAMB actually comes in a perfect day to night size.

Leighton’s version sports reds, whites, and blues, but over at Bloomingdales (dot com), you can also find it in Licorice or Claret (pictured above).

Jeanne Lanvin was a pioneer in her day, making a big name for herself in the world of 1920s fashion. She designed clothing for women, men, and children alike. Her designs often employed the use of quilted fabrics, lace, and texture. She also enjoyed mixing different materials together, such as patent with matte or transparent with opaque. She was inspired by the impressionist artists of her time, as well as by the many different cultures she paid visit to around the world.

When I see Lanvin pieces today, especially when it comes to handbags, I can see that her sense of style still lives on in the designs. Take, for example, the Lanvin Quilted Amalia Cabas Tote. This large, lambskin tote is simple and chic. However, it also offers a variety of textures to entice the onlooking eye. It has quilting, grosgrain ribbon, tortoiseshell, and chains. But what I find most interesting about this tote is the cleaver use of the chain handles. They are actually all one piece, threaded through the tortoiseshell grommets. Simply grab one of them and pull it out to lengthen… and you have a nice shoulder bag instead of a hand held tote! Cool and classy!

Attention Gucci-addicts, you must head on over to Saks (dot com) to take a peek at the latest styles for fall 09’. For the past couple of seasons, I’ve been on the fence regarding Gucci’s collection; some stuff was so-so, while other goods were shockingly awkward. I must say Gucci has got me second looking some of their newbie’s this time around, such as the Medium Icon Shoulder Bag. If you’re in search of the perfect black handbag, this one might be it.

What makes this piece different from any other black handbag? The gorgeous ruthenium hardware found on this piece allows comfortable wear through your gold or silver toned jewelry’s, so you can gladly put an end to the need to match your handbags hardware to your style. The roundish crescent like shape of the hobo is pleasant, especially with its feminine pleated details. Digging through your bag isn’t necessary, as the wide zipper opening which folds all the way back, allows a considerable view of what’s in your bag, and both shoulder and across the body leather straps are conveniently found on this Gucci as well. I personally adore the style, and I can totally see myself carrying this piece from day to night.

Summer is here, and nothing is better than strutting on the beach in style. I live in South Florida, and every year it seems that designer beach goods are becoming more and more popular. Everywhere you look in Florida fashionista’s are purchasing designer swimwear, towels, sandals, and even beach bags.

One of prettiest beach bags I came across was the Milly Della Fonte Beach Tote. The beach bag is so colorful, that it scream Summer. Everything from the hardware to the floral print make this bag look beautiful.

What I love most about this bag, is that it doesn’t look like your everyday beach bag. I would use this bag for the beach, but I would also use it as a tote. It looks like a bag someone would take out of their closet and use anytime during the Summer, not just the beach. Another cute feature about the bag, is the adorable matching zipper pouch that comes with it. It matches the bag perfectly and is definitely an added bonus to the already stunning beach tote.

The only downfall about this bag, is it you do decide to use it at the beach the sand could become a problem. Usually beach bags have little holes in them so that most of the sand can come out before you put your bag back into your car. There are no holes on Milly Della Fonte Beach Tote, so you may have to do some serious cleaning to it once you leave the beach.

Prada is one of my ultimate favorite high end handbag designers. Something about Prada handbags always scream amazing, sophisticated, and stylish! One of the Prada handbags that I am currently drooling over the “Prada Cervo Shine Stachel.” I have always been a fan of the “Cervo” bags, but the “Shine Satchel” is the most stunning out of all of them.

The Prada Shine Satchel is one of those handbags you can wear whenever you want, and it will look amazing. If I were to purchase this handbag, I would probably use it all year long constantly. It just looks like one of those classic bags, that you can’t get enough of.

My favorite feature about this handbag is that it’s really spacious. It also has one of those shapes that you can literally throw as much as you want in it, not be organized, and it will still look fabulous.

The only detail I don’t care for about this bag is the detachable shoulder strap. I personally love satchels, so I would carry this handbag using the double handles. Thankfully, the shoulder strap can be detached, therefore there really isn’t any flaws about this handbag. If you do love the shoulder strap though, that’s great because it reality it gives you 1-of-2 ways you can use the handbag.

The Prada Cervo Shine Satchel can be purchased at Saks Fifth Avenue for $1,795. I must admit that sure is an ugly price, for such a beautiful handbag. The price may be undesirable, but no one can deny the beauty of this bag.
