Earlier today, Eva Longoria Parker went for a quick Parisian shopping spree at the Gerard Darel Boutique, right before catching a flight back to LA. And for the occasion, Eva stopped into the boutique sporting her gorgeous Gerard Darel Ranger Pony in cowhide.

As mentioned in a previous post, the one unfortunate thing about the brand Gerard Darel, is that it’s almost impossible to find online in the US, unless you’re looking for a Gerard Darel deal on ebay.

I have just found my ultimate favorite MICHAEL Michael Kors Astor satchel, and it is absolutely stunning. Michael Kors has just released the “Uptown Astor Satchel” and it is so beautiful that I need to buy it ASAP.

What caught my eye about this gorgeous bag are the gold studs. Studs have been everywhere recently, but they really compliment this bag like no other. The gold shiny studs look amazing on the black vintage leather.

This is a bag that I would literally use all year long. I love the color black, and pretty much all my clothing is black and white and I also only wear gold hoop earrings. No matter what I’m wearing, this bag will always match my wardrobe. It’s also a bag that doesn’t have a specific season to it. By that, I mean that it’s not just for the Fall or Winter, you could literally use this bag whenever you want, with whatever outfit you want and it will look fabulous.

The rocker chick look seems to be in full force, and this bag goes well with the whole look. I could definitely see someone rocking this bag with a pair of leggings and some sort of over sized shirt.

Overall, this bag is amazing and I know I definitely want to buy it as soon as I can.

Have you ladies added a fall/winter handbag to your collection yet? Nicely detailed is this classy Saks Exclusive hobo by Cole Haan. I was drawn to the basket weaved leather found on the Prudence Hobo, and if you’re a fan of textured leather with a twist, you might find this hobo intriguing as well. When weaved texture is done on handbags, and right of course, they’re noticeable and attractively classy. The rich toned colors of Chestnut and Zinfandel have a nice sheen to them, making them the perfect bag candidates for those cool autumn days we’re all approaching. This ought to make a great style for the woman with sophisticated taste or for the girl who seeks that boho chic look in a handbag.

Honestly speaking, I never found interest in Cole Haan’s accessory collection, but what I really liked about the Prudence even more than the large tassel, gold toned hardware and oversized woven design was it’s price tag. $428 is what they’re asking for, and for this handbag being all leather and having a contemporary designer name to it, that’s not too bad of a decision at all.

Jessica Alba was spotted in New York last week carrying the latest little black fringe clutch by Gerard Darel.

Jessica is a big fan of the Parisian fashion house and is often seen sporting clothing and accessories from the designer. This trendy two-tiered fringe bag is the perfect accent to her sophisticated black ensemble.

One unfortunate thing about the brand Gerard Darel, is that it’s almost impossible to find online, unless you’re shopping the deal-breaker halls of ebay.

Over at TheBagForum there’s a new look for Fall, discover the new “autumn edition 2009” template style.

The theme has been live for the past couple weeks or so, in the secret phase, but as today marks the First Day of Autumn, we decided to make it the official TBF theme.

If you’re not ready for fall just yet, it’s simple to switch your template. All you have to do is go to the bottom of the page and select a different template from the scroll down menu.

When it comes to going to class, I like to carry as little as possible. I’m definitely one of these college girls that loves to dress up to class and look as stylish as possible. I must always wear heels, and have a designer handbag in tow. What I hate carrying around is books and notebooks for class. I’m always throwing them in some sort of small tote, that doesn’t kill my outfit. As of right now, I’m sporting around a “Sex & the City” tote that says “I’m not afraid of heights, have you seen my heels?” That compliments me well since all I wear is heels, but I’ve been searching for more of a designer tote to lug around my school things in, and I think I may have found one.

The See by Chloé “See Small Shopper” is definitely cute, but it’s also on the weird and fashionable too. How ironic is it that the brand is called “See by Chloé” and you have a pair of eyes on a bag staring at you. The tote is different, and is a stylish way to carry around any sort of school or work supply. It even has a cute matching button near the shoulder straps, which is another set of eyes staring at you.

The See by Chloé See “Small Shopper” can be purchased at Nordstrom for $95. The price tag is a steal for this tote. Anytime you can find a designer tote at such a great price is amazing! All in all, it’s a very cute tote at an affordable price.

KOTUR was a hit on the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards. Below are a couple of our favorites that appeared on the red carpet.

The stunning Anastasia Griffith, who stars on Damages (co-star Rose Byrne is nominated) showed up carrying the Creel Basketweave Minaudiere in Gold.

Showtime’s Dexter star, Julie Benz showed up looking amazing and carrying J.B. Renna Karung Snakeskin Minaudiere in Mocha Eclat.

Alicia Witt, who starred on CBS’s “Two and a Half Men” was spotted on the red carpet carrying the Candela Minaudiere in Jet.

Star on the new series “Eastwick”, Lindsay Price was photographed carrying her J.B. Renna Maille and Crystal Minaudiere.

Being the handbag lover that I am, I’m always on the lookout for new and beautiful handbag designs. But when I came across this new company called Laudi Vidni, I found myself completely overwhelmed with awe. Here we have a company that allows you, the handbag enthusiast, to design your very own handbag. And here we have a company that saw an opportunity to do what other designer labels were not — empowering women. With a Laudi Vidni handbag, the whole idea of logos being a symbol of status has been completely thrown out the window. What you end up with is a luxurious handbag that defines you and only YOU.

Laudi Vidni, which is simply “individual” spelled backwards, is the brainchild of Grace Tsao-Wu and Laura Kofoid. These Harvard Business School graduates were brought together through their mutual love of fashion. Their business venture began when another entrepreneur sold his idea for a customized-leather handbag business to them for $1. The two women immediately fell in love with the spirit behind the idea. And with a lot of hard work and a little TLC, Laudi Vidni was born!

Now it seems as though I have fallen in love with the spirit behind the idea as well. I took the website for a test drive and, I must say, it is awesome! I have seen other design-your-own handbag websites before, but this one is by far the best. I love how you can choose different leathers for different parts of the bag. And with so many gorgeous leathers to choose from, the possibilities seem endless. But what I love most about Laudi Vidni, is how easy it is to use their website. In fact, it’s as easy as 1,2,3!

1. Select your style!
There are currently 8 different styles to choose from. Their starting prices range from $85 (for the Poco Wristlet) to $495 (for the Cambiare Vertical Shopper). I really like how the key features of each bag are bulleted on the left-hand side of the screen.

2. Pick your leather(s), lining, and harware!
There are 40 different leathers to choose from, including a variety of premium leathers which can add to the final price of the handbag. You can take a closer look at each leather simply by clicking on the “view details” buttons that look like tiny magnifying glasses. I love how you can simply click on the part of the bag you wish to select a leather for. The design process is so easy and straight-forward!

3. Try it on!
By clicking on the “preview” button on the left side of the screen, you can take a closer look at your design. You can also try the handbag on using a model that comes in three different heights. This feature really helps with the decision process because you can get a better idea of what the handbag would look like on.

So there you have it! Now all there is left to do is design a handbag that is uniquely yours! In fact, that is exactly what I am going to do right now! I must admit, I really love that Pavan style for myself. It is unlike anything else I own and I absolutely adore the ruching at the top. This bag looks like it could easily transition between day and night, perfect for what I’m wanting it for.

Now if only I could decide between the Washed Metallic Leather (left) or the Storm Premium Leather (right).

The Chat: Help me choose!

I’m absolutely in love with the Louis Vuitton Monogram “Eclipse” handbag line. I think they are stunning, and definitely put more edge into the Monogram line. The Monogram line is beautiful, but it can get a tad bit boring sometimes.

I hate small bags, but the Louis Vuitton “Monogram Eclipse Mini Pochette” caught my eye. Perhaps it was because it was the most affordable bag out of the whole line, but it was one the cute side. I’m not sure what you could possibly fit in it, but it looked like a bag that a toddler would carry around.

The most you could probably fit into this bag is a phone, lip gloss, and some cash if that. Small or not, it’s definitely an adorable bag to carry around on one of those evenings when you don’t want to carry much of anything. It’s one of those little bags, that is so tiny but yet still looks amazing. I also love how the hotel room key inspired zipper is more than half the height of the bag. That just shows how small this bag really is.

The Louis Vuitton “Monogram Eclipse Mini Pochette” can be purchased at Louis Vuitton for $945. The bag maybe cute, but it’s not worth that much. If I’m paying that much for a bag I would like to be able to carry quite a bit in it. Then again, this is one of Louis Vuitton’s seasonal handbag lines therefore it won’t be around for long. When you know a certain bag won’t be around forever, perhaps it makes the price looks less bad. Overall, it’s a gorgeous little bag!
