I absolutely loved horses when I was a little girl! But, hey, what little girl didn’t want her very own pony? Now I never did get that pony, but I don’t think my love for horses ever really died.

So when I came across this beautiful handbag with its equestrian-inspired details, I couldn’t help but be intrigued. Introducing the Horse + Nail Scout Bag! The designer, Lindsey Hufnagel, named her line based on the German translation of her last name (“huf” meaning “hoof” and “nagel” meaning “nail”). What a fitting name for a line that takes inspiration from the designer’s love of horseback riding!

It’s Hills star Miss Lauren Conrad, either she’s a fan of the diva talk show host Wendy Williams as it appears that she hit her souvenir shop or she just happened to be a guest on the show and that’s just a canvas goodie bag she received. What a bag to have in your collection, Lauren Conrad demonstrates now and in the past how well you can dress this classic up or down and still look so chic. Lauren’s choice of gold toned hardware adds a vintage like effect to the shoulder bag, creating a nice contrast against the rich black leather.

I’ll also note that her lady companion back there is carrying some arm candy by Foley + Corinna, those gals sure do rock some style.

Kylie Minogue has enjoyed a great deal of popularity over the last few decades, especially in the UK. In fact, the Australian native is the only female artist, aside from Madonna, in British chart history to have achieved number one singles in the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. Minogue has often been described as a “style icon who constantly reinvents herself”. And after taking one look at her gorgeous Yves Saint Laurent Easy Bag in Silver, I would definitely have to say I agree with the “style icon” portion of that statement. This bag is such a classic piece and it looks so lovely in metallic! Interestingly, Minogue chose tan knee-high boots to go with her pretty silver bag on this overcast day in London. It is not something that you would normally expect, but somehow she seems make it work. The rest of her ensemble consists of a peach blouse, tan woolen poncho, and skinny jeans (tucked into her boots). Very weather appropriate!

Imitation the sincerest form of flattery? Marc Jacobs doesn’t think so and is suing Christian Audigier’s Nervous Tattoo, Inc. for trade dress and trademark infringement over a purse designs.

Marc Jacobs has a pending application for it’s random “Marc Jacobs” scrambled trademark. The scramble trademark is what makes up the inside lining of the “Pretty Nylon” Tote. And the “size, shape, color or color combination, product design, texture, and selection and arrangement of materials and accessories” make up it’s trade dress, which is the image and identity of the “Marc Jacobs Pretty Nylon Tote” for which Marc Jacobs fans around the world associate with it.
