Treesje‘s Spring 2010 Collection has arrived! What I think is so exciting about this new collection is Treesje’s introduction of distressed leather. It looks so soft, as if it has already been broken in and it really adds a nice modern edge to some of our favorite styles from seasons passed. Take, for example, the lasted version of the Treesje Jovi Cross Body Bag. I really love how this new distressed leather adds interest and texture to this season’s colors. It makes these already bright colors look that much more vibrant. Plus I think the square studs complement the distressed leather nicely.

With all of the weird and wacky designs that I have seen by Marc Jacobs over the years, it is not surprising that I have become somewhat desensitized. Whether it’s the quirky Miss Marc or splashes of neon colors, Marc Jacobs has never been afraid of thinking outside the box. I really admire him for his creativity and boldness. But this appreciation that I have for the Marc by Marc Jacobs line never really prepared me for what I stumbled upon the other day. Can you believe it? A very, very normal-looking handbag has made its way into Marc Jacobs’ diffusion line.

I’m square. I’m suede. I’m covered in an array of little studs. What am I? I’m the Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent Studded Pouch, of course! Okay, okay, enough with the road trip games (although, I must admit, it was kind of fun)! I want all of you ladies out there in Bag Bliss Land to check out this adorable little pouch that I happened upon today.

The Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent Studded Pouch is just cute, cute, cute! I really love the assorted studs adorning the front side of the pouch. The mixture of squares and circles in both silver and gold creates such a fun and unique look. Plus this cute little pouch comes in 3 different earthy colors, which happen to look extra rich in suede.

When it comes to clutches and evening bags, there are two features that I absolutely love: Color and sequins. And if it happens to be over-sized too? Bonus!!! So when I saw the new Jimmy Choo Zulu Sequined Leather Clutch, I was simply mesmerized. This clutch looks absolutely gorgeous in the modeling picture. And it looks especially lovely paired with that simple black dress!

I think what I like so much about this clutch is the very interesting use of sequins that was employed. From a distance, the little blocks of color almost look like stones adorning the exterior of the bag. But each of these “stones” is actually a zillion little sequins meticulously sewn into place. Puffy quilting of the leather exterior is what gives these “stones” their three-dimensional appearance.

TJX Co is in hot water over recent allegations over passing off knockoff merchandise as the real deal.

Burberry claims TJX Co., the parent company of the off-price chains such as T.J. Maxx and Marshalls of selling selling counterfeits, and “trying to attract their target customer base and profit at Burberry’s expense,” Reuters reports.

When I first laid eyes on the Atlantis Plexi Clutch from Alexander McQueen‘s Plato’s Atlantis Collection, I found myself absolutely speechless. Yes, this odd looking clutch looks like a cross between a football and a bowling ball. BUT… this odd looking clutch is also pretty darn awesome, in my opinion.

The clutch is constructed of hard plexi plastic, a very unique material when it comes to the world of handbags. I think my favorite part is simply how shiny it is. The finger holes, however, are pretty cool as well. What a fun way to hold onto your clutch, especially if you’ve found yourself somewhere where a lot of hugging is required! Hanging onto this clutch during each embrace would be such a breeze!

Joy Gryson is a talent in the handbag industry that has worked for Coach, Marc Jacobs and started her own line in 2006. She gained a great deal of attention and soon had her handbags distributed in Neiman Marcus, Barneys, Saks and many other major department stores and boutiques. In 2007 Joy introduced the Olivia Harris brand. Named after her daughter, the line is a younger, edgier grittier than the sister line.
