Be & D Dylan Cross Body Bag

Be & D is an amazing success story. Surprisingly, Be & D began at the kitchen table of a Brooklyn loft! There, Be Inthavong and Steve Dumain created their first handbag design that became an international sensation. Using high quality leathers and interesting designs, the line continues to provide amazing pieces that are loved by celebrities like Jessica Biel and Charlize Theron.

While we are used to seeing their metallic studding, the Dylan Cross Body Bag is understated but edgy. The pebbled leather bag features leather covered dome shaped studs. It’s such an interesting, subtle and smart detail!

Marc Jacobs Parachute Stam Bag

Attention Marc Jacobs fans, there is a new Stam in town. Will we ever see the end of the Stam family? The latest arrival is the Parachute Stam, a theme that was not seen in this line yet. The infamous satchel arrive with an extra puffed up silhouette of platinum colored crinkles that is sure to catch mixed attention. In case you are wondering what the glossy luster is, it is in fact good ole’ PVC, and although to most bagista’s, PVC isn’t the material of choice, I’d say this piece would last you a couple of bangs for the time being.

Fendi Studded Boston Satchel

At first glance, the Fendi Studded Leather Satchel, seems basic. But on closer inspection, you will note that it is rich with quality and details! It’s the perfect lady-like bag with a teensy bit of edge.

Fendi is known for chic, classic handbags and this satchel exemplifies that style, but ramped up just a notch. The classic, rich creamy shaded pebbled leather exudes sophistication and richness. The pebbled texture keeps it from becoming too prissy. It’s boxy shape is classic yet fashion-forward at the same time. We don’t really see this exact shape too often right now. So, in a way, it’s a bit unique. The whipstich detailing provides the edginess reminiscent of styles by Carlos Falchi but without any slouchiness. Little wooden studs provide a jewel-like accent to this beautiful bag.

Kate Moss for Longchamp Gloucester Weekender Travel Bag

You know what sounds really nice right now? A romantic weekend getaway! Of course, this picture-perfect trip would not be complete without a picture-perfect travel bag. Personally, I like a classic duffel style. That’s why I really like this Kate Moss for Longchamp Gloucester Weekender Travel Bag. That’s right! The iconic face behind the Longchamp name now has her very own collection! These bags really capture the essence of Kate’s day-to-day look. Inspired by vintage luggage, the Gloucester Weekender Travel Bag is effortlessly timeless. I really like the look and feel of this bag — carefree, yet stylish.

My favorite part about this bag, however, is the unexpected surprise inside! Simply open it up to reveal a fun, zebra-print lining! And, as an added bonus, this bag also comes with a matching zebra-print scarf! So if you’re looking for a classic travel bag, I would definitely suggest giving this gorgeous piece a second look. But if the simple beauty of this bag doesn’t convince you, perhaps its utilitarian design will.

Coach Poppy Floral Graffiti Bella Tote

There is a mixture of punky, prep, romance and street vibe in All-American brand Coach’s latest, the Bella Tote. This piece is featured in the Poppy Floral Graffiti line, which is either a hit or miss for you depending on your taste and age group. I don’t like to compare two very different name brand parties to each other, as far as having similar ideas in their collection, as I like to believe that each designer brand storms up their very own ideas. This line is indeed funky and fresh, but the oversized printed floral design along with graffiti tagging throughout the background of this bag is not such a fresh idea, considering the fact that French House Louis Vuitton presented the Roses and Graffiti concept for their Stephen Sprouse collection, last year.

Katherine Kwei Amber Switch Bag – 4 in 1 design!

When it comes to handbags, 2-in-1 styles are always cool. Who doesn’t like the versatility? Or, for that matter, the fun? So when a 4-in-1 style comes along, you know it has to be super cool! And the Katherine Kwei Amber Switch Bag is just that — super cool! All cheesiness aside though, the Amber Switch Bag is like nothing I have ever seen before. At first glance, you would never guess that this is a 4-in-1 bag. From the modeling pictures, it is obvious that this bag can be worn as either a crossbody bag or a clutch (thanks to the detachable shoulder strap). Is this something new? Of course not!

Rebecca Minkoff Best Friends Leather Pouch Set

The Rebecca Minkoff Best Friends Leather Pouch Set was first brought to my attention about a month ago by fellow TBFer FedUp. And I must admit, the idea is pretty cool. When I was a kid, all we had were “Best Friends” necklaces. I remember sharing a set with my very best friend, a girl I had known since preschool. But I got to thinking, we often have best friends as grown-ups… especially us girls. So why not be proud of that fact? And with these cute little pouches, there’s no need for a cheesy necklace! You and your best friend can show off your special friendship in style, wherever you happen to be. But if you’re not feeling the whole Best Friends pouch thing, I hear that Rebecca Minkoff has also released a Best Friends Key Chain Set for Spring 2010.

Versace Pyramid Stud Shoulder Bag

Here’s a designer bag fit for the inner punk chic in you. Although this piece is not my taste at all, I like the ‘tough girl’ statement that it is sending. With all those heavy looking studs and metal detailing, this shoulder bag can easily be classified as a personal weapon as well; but the Italian House of Versace calls it the Studded Leather Shoulder bag, instead. Donatella’s designs sure can be fierce, and this piece was no exception.

A classic pouch like silhouette arrives in thick black leather with countless oversized squared studs and more. Simply flip the heavy front flap over to reveal the florescent green and tan silk interior to this three compartment shoulder bag. This Versace bag probably wouldn’t make the best candidate for a work, everyday, or formal evening piece; but you sure can pull it off with your casual jeans and tee look for a night out in town.
