Rachel Bilson was recently spotted outside the Dragonfly DuLou boutique in Los Angeles. For her little shopping trip, Bilson wore a navy top with an ink-blot pattern and black tuxedo pants. And hanging from her shoulder was her 3.1 Phillip Lim Edie Studded Bow Bag! From the Fall 2009 Collection, the Edie Studded Bow Bag was one hot item last year. And it appears to be one of Bilson’s favorites, as she has been photographed carrying it on several occasions. The bag features a bow-shaped flap front with metal mesh in the center. The gold-tone, cone-shaped studs give this bag a hard-edge feel that would compliment an urban look, whether it be day or night. I love the double-stranded strap. Plus the wider panel at the top of the strap looks like it would make this bag super comfortable to carry. Such a gorgeous bag! It’s no wonder it was on everyone’s wish list!

They say blue is the new black. But this Marc Jacobs 2010 Rockstar Clutch is blue AND black! What a fun combination! You would definitely have the best of both worlds with this beauty! It’s a little difficult to tell from the picture, but the main body of this clutch constructed of black hide (= pony hair). The leather flap at the front features a blue and gold houndstooth pattern, which I find to be quite stunning. You don’t see a lot of houndstooth when it comes to handbags, but I think Marc did very well.

Sex in the City star, Sarah Jessica Parker, was paying tribute to Alexander McQueen at the 2010 CFDA Fashion Awards. Her gorgeous gown is from the late designer’s Pre-Fall collection. Sarah Jessica Parker completed her look with a very interesting-looking evening bag. The bag’s identity eluded me for quite some time, but I finally figured it out. It is called the Dangler Bag and it is by a designer called VBH. The designer is known more for their envelope clutches, it’s no wonder I was stumped. This bag has such an intriguing design though. I love how it gracefully hangs down from Sarah Jessica Parker’s hand, as if it was an extension of her arm. The ball shape and loop handle make this bag so unique, it’s sure to draw the attention of an entire room! Also from this designer, you can see a VBH stingray cuff wrapped around her wrist. Such pretty accessories! And so perfect for the occasion!
