Pop princess, Britney Spears, was all smiles while shopping at a Michael’s craft store with her boyfriend Jason Trawick last week. But whoa, what is up with Britney’s outfit? Her dress looks a bit too formal for craft supply shopping, even though she tried dressing it down with a newsboy hat and a pair of combat boots. Oh well, at least Britney is sporting a cute handbag for her little outing. It’s one of Coach’s latest additions, the Julia Small Satchel!

What an adorable little bag! I love the satchel shape and shoulder strap-length handles. I also love the color (called Berry) and the richly pebbled leather. This bag would be great for a day of running errands. However, it is also elegant enough to be worn for an evening out on the town. Hmm… perhaps Britney had it right after all! The dress and the bag look good together anyway, even if she does look a little out of place with her surroundings.

It’s not too often that I can say a designer has thrown me for a loop. But I think, right at this very moment, Marni has done just that! Check out this Marni Goat Hair Bag and you will see what I mean. The bag features a black goat hair exterior, which is full length in the front and shaved in the back. Now I’m all for unique and unusual textures when it comes to handbags, but this bag looks downright shaggy.

I suppose though you could sport this bag if you were in the mood for something quirky. It is certainly something that would get heads turning in a crowded room. If you’re feeling brave enough to try pulling this baby off, then you don’t want to overdo it. Definitely pair this bag with an all-black outfit and let the texture of the bag do all the talking.

If I know anything about Jessica Simpson, it’s that she loves loves loves Louis Vuitton handbags. If Louis Vuitton made it, you can bet Jessica’s got it. And look here! She even has the Louis Vuitton Suhali Le Fabuleux Bag in Metallic Gold! She was spotted carrying it while on a lunch date with her boyfriend, Eric Johnson, last week. Wow! This is such a gorgeous piece! Absolutely stunning! I love the classic shape and the vintage-inspired hardware. Plus the exterior is covered with the company’s famous Suhali goatskin leather, which I hear is quite durable. This bag is dressy looking, yet it is practical enough for everyday wear. It has been a very popular style since it first made its debut several years ago, despite its rather steep price tag. Sadly though, it has recently been discontinued. Too bad, especially since Jessica looks simply radiant with hers tucked in the crook of her elbow!

Once again we show off another amazing find by Judith Leiber. This time around she presents to us an exotic that has been seen from time to time in the world of handbags, and we’re not just talking animal print here, instead, it’s an entire miniature model of a zebra. There is nothing to dislike about this daintily resting zebra clutch, other than the fact that you’re limited to what you can carry along for the night.

When you think about it in those terms, what fun is there in obtaining a piece that better serves décor than a bag? The only conclusions I can draw to that would be that if you have whooping $5,000 to invest on a one-of-a-kind, collector’s piece, then why the heck not?

The world recognizable check pattern by the House of Burberry has been revived with a splash of color for their classic wallets collection. Just like every other Continental wallet out there, there is no doubt that this piece is simply perfect. Roomy enough to carry your multiple credit and store cards, change, bills and more, you can’t go wrong with any a handy continental.

My first designer wallet I obtained was in fact a check zip Burberry wallet. At that time, I had a choice of two leather colors to choose from to line my check canvas, and they were the basics of black and brown.

Today you can take your pick on Emerald, Mustard, Military Red or Plum. I personally like the idea of adding a bright splash of color to this classic print, and many designer houses have committed to similar projects.

Kooba‘s Fall 2010 Collection is here! This is such exciting news! I have always had a soft spot for Kooba, they have such unique designs that always seem to please. And, of course, I am always eager to give them the attention they deserve when it comes to my posts. So what has the Fall 2010 Collection brought us? I am loving this Kooba Audrey Tote! This gorgeous piece features a sunburst pattern that was created using suede insets and pleats. I really like tone-on-tone effects when it comes to handbags. It is such a great way to add interest and texture to a single-shade style. I also love the shape of the Kooba Audrey Tote.

Ali Larter was sporting her baby bump while heading out the lunch in Beverly Hills the other day. The former Heroes star is expecting her first child with husband Hayes MacArthur. She looks so cute in her pink floral sundress and metallic silver wedges. But what’s that bag hiding underneath her black cardigan? It was a little bit difficult to tell at first, but I have definitely made a positive ID. It’s the Alexander Wang Brenda Crossbody Bag! I guess this means we can add Ali to the Alexander Wang fan list!

This is such a cute bag! It is perfect for when you don’t want to carry a big bag around. I love the little pockets on the front and the extra long, snake chain strap. Plus I love the color! Ali’s bag is this beautiful washed silver color that looks great paired with her shoes, yet it isn’t too matchy-matchy.
