Rebecca Minkoff Swing

I would like to introduce to you the Rebecca Minkoff Swing Pouchette! Whoa… wait a minute! Rebecca Minkoff? Yes, you heard right. Although it doesn’t look like it, this interesting-looking bag is made by the same designer who brought us the Morning After Bag. I guess she was going for a Wild West look! But I won’t brush is aside quite yet. Rebecca Minkoff is still one of my favorite designers, so I feel like I should at least give this bag a chance.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Ostrich Optics

While we are obsessing over our Christmas lists and who wants what, where to buy it, who has the best deal, there’s a new season peaking around the corner. It’s resort time! Time to start looking for that silver lining in the dreary snowy cloudy days ahead. Typically, we see a lot of navy and white during resort season, but pops of color like vibrant yellow and red are important too.

The Marc by Marc Jacobs Ostrich Optics Tote is a gorgeous shade of ripe tomato red on a very well done faux ostrich leather. Not only will this be beautiful for resort, but it works perfectly to brighten up your wardrobe during the winter. The tote features double handles with a 5.5″ drop as well as a shoulder strap with a 22″ drop. You’ll love the divided interior featuring roomy printed fabric lining with slip pockets and an interior side zip pocket. A turnlock opening with gold-tone hardware accent the bag. The size is 12″ x 11″ x 5″, so you’ll have room for a good book and flip flops too! Currently $395

The Ostrich Optics Clutch Purse is a nice complement to the Tote. I can be used as a wallet or a clutch. The size is 7.5″ x 4″ x 1″ so it will fit perfectly in the tote too! The clutch features the gold-tone turn-lock flap closure, an exterior slip pocket, nine interior credit card slots and an interior zip pocket. All in the same tomato red with beautiful ostrich printed leather! Currently $230

Be & D Capra Bag

One of my ultimate favorite designer brands is Be & D. My fashion style is broken up into two categories: Classic Fashion and Rocker Fashion. I love both styles, but I find myself alternating between the two quite often. I would say I’m more of a rocker chick during the day and a classic fashionista at night. I love the look of the whole rocker chick look, but at night I do love to dress up.

Be & D, in my opinion, are the perfect handbags to go with a rocker chick look. They have that edgy look to them, and the black with gold hardware is always a great accessory to any rock look. Also available in leopard print with gunmetal hardware.

My current love of all the Be & D handbags is the “Capra” bag. I’m normally not a fan of small bags because I tend to carry everything you can imagine in my bag but I really do like this one. Shoulder style bags were never my thing, but I’m learning as I get older that sometimes it’s a good thing to give your arms or back a break and just let loose. When you have a shoulder bag it’s a lot easier to move around and shop!

Balenciaga Crescent Giant Stitch Bag

I am quickly becoming a serious Balanciaga fan. My Theresa has such a wonderful selection to peruse with some of the less recognized styles to enjoy. The Giant Stitch Bag is a gorgeous style you can find on the site. And it’s available in two lovely colors; vert (pale green) and nacre (powder white).

The bag has a beautiful, softly rounded rectanglular shape with large whip stiches around the edges of the bag. The 48″ extra-skinny, shoulder-strap is detachable so you can carry the bag as an over-sized clutch. The leather on the bag is textured for a more distressed look. This bag features the Balenciaga styling of the tiny front zippered pocket with buckle detail on the corners. A double snap closure with a leather framed mirror are nice touches.

Burberry Embossed Check

The House of Burberry has always associated their check pattern as a classic and youthful design for their fans of all ages. The truth is that there exists a love-hate connection towards the globally recognized print, depending on who you’re asking. In the past couple of seasons, the House has added twists to their classic check by means of altering its colors, check size, and textiles to change their accessories looks’ around.

Take for example this modern twist to their check print tote – The Burberry Embossed Check. Striking choice of Raspberry Shorbet against shiny patent leather gives this piece a stunning presentation. The recognizable print is embossed onto the leather, giving this bag a nice contemporary finish.

Lockheart Pinwheel Wallet

I have never been very enthusiastic when it comes to Lockheart handbags. I’m not sure why exactly, they just haven’t been on my radar. But I know there are a lot of Lockheart fans out there and sometimes I feel like I am missing something. So when I stumbled across the Lockheart Pinwheel Continental Wallet, I decided to give this lesser-known designer a second look. And in case you haven’t guessed, I liked what I saw! Not only does this piece have an unusual design, it comes in some pretty colors as well!
