Reed Krakoff Belted Envelope Clutch

It has only been six short months since Net-A-Porter began stocking their virtual shelves with Reed Krakoff handbags. The new luxury brand was launched last year by Coach’s Creative Director, Reed Krakoff. His designs became an instant hit and they seem to have been flying off those virtual shelves as quickly as Net-A-Porter has been able to stock them! Not bad for a new designer! But Krakoff does have over 20 years of experience in the fashion world, so it really is no surprise. So what styles are currently available from this designer? One that really caught my eye was the Reed Krakoff Knotted Strap Envelope Clutch!

Coach Poppy Stripe Tote

Coach keeps note of which of their products are considered hits and which are simply a plain miss. To the minimalist’s surprise, the legacy stripe collection actually sold pretty well. So good selling numbers at corporate calls for a renovated design of the fun and charming collection.

The All-American brand of Coach once again introduces, the Poppy Legacy Stripe Glam Tote. We’ve seen the design and the fans of the bold and bright are accessible, but lets discover what’s the latest that Coach has to offer. For starters, the bright and bold vertical lines have a springy feel to them and with aid of the muted lime green leather trim throughout the tote; this would make a perfect edition to your Easter bunny escapades. Within the lines of hue, are imprinted textures that vary among each line. An array of corresponding dots, signature statements, and an imprinted oversized Coach tag, all fall along certain strips of color.

Magaschoni Handbags

Clothing brand Magaschoni is adding a full range of handbags to the family, in an effort to expand to a full range women’s lifestyle collection. Magaschoni isn’t a new brand. The apparel brand has been around for about 22 years so the addition brings no surprise.

WWD is reporting that the Magaschoni’s bag collection will feature 18 silhouettes in exotic skins, such as pebble grain leather, hair calf, python, crocodile and microfiber, in earth tones, black, white, gray and maroon.

The bags will be available when Fall (around September) rolls around with three price tiers, ranging from $327 to $2,000.

Prada Canapa and Cinghiale

Emily Browning (aka Katie from that one scary movie “Ghost Ship”) was photographed out and about while promoting “Sucker Punch” in New York City today, March 22, 2011. Bag in hand is the two-tone Prada natural canvas canapa tote with Cinghiale (that would be boarskin) trim from the Spring Summer 2011 collection.

Kate Spade Essex Scout

When I walk by a gumball machine, I have to smile. The bright colored little balls of gum are cheerful and whimsical. It’s what initially caught my eye with the Kate Spade Essex Scout Leather Cross Body Flap Bag. Hmmm. just like the gumball, that’s quite a mouthful.

Bright colors are another big trend this season as we shake off the winter grey and all that black clothing we’ve been wearing. What better than to do a 180 degree turn and go super bright! Bone white, Citronella yellow and Hot Pink catch your eye and make you smile. They are such fun colors and can surprisingly be worn with a lot of different wardrobe choices!

Derek Lam Beatrice

The mighty clutch holds the power to embrace any textures and colors it’s creator desires, with the capability to look attractive and most importantly, to be wearable. Derek Lam definitely knows this as he has displayed his creativity towards one of his latest, the Beatrice Clutch.

What’s not to love about this textured, multi-hued accessory? A gorgeous shade of mustard suede that makes up the fold over flap and top handles surprisingly contrasts finely with the washed-out panels of what is either a croc pattern or a poorly constructed wall of blocks. The Twisted arched metal detailing up front gives this clutch a powerful touch of sophistication and makes the product look twice as expensive.

Thale Blanc La Pochette

Designed by Deborah Sawaf, the Thale Blanc La Pochette was created with the fashionable minimalist in mind, perfectly ideal for the after dark, evening out occasions when you don’t really want to carry around a big bag. Or even for those who don’t want to lug around their school bag or work tote when, say, you just want to go out for a quick coffee run or lunch date.
