Cole Haan Vintage Jenna Bag

The major bag trends this season: structure, flaps, chain straps and color blocking can be found in one beautiful bag. The Cole Haan Vintage Valisse Jenna leather bag has it all and does it extraordinarily well.

Many of us have been enamored with hobos and slouchy bags and while as attractive as the ladylike flap bags have been, it can be hard to commit to a completely new style. So you wan to find just the right one. I love the beautiful vintage feel to this bag with it’s rich two-tone cognac leather. The darker leather trim is a subtle nod to the hot color blocking trend without being too much of a contrast for hesitant to try bold colors.

Dolce & Gabbana Black & White Beach Tote

Spring is here and soon Summer will be vastly approaching us. Even though I live close to the beach I hardly go. The sand annoys me like there is no tomorrow. I absolutely hate when it gets stuck to my skin then just gets all over my car. What I hate more is when all the stuff I bring to the beach, especially my essentials, has sand all over them. This is inevitable though since most beach bags have holes in them to “try” to make the sand fall out.

When I discovered the Dolce & Gabbana “Black & White” Beach Bag I Immediately thought it was the greatest beach bag ever designed. No, it can’t keep the sand out but it sure does keep you more organized. Most beach bags are over-sized and you just throw everything you own in them. With this bag everything is labeled, which makes it a little bit easier to keep the sand out. If everything has it’s own little compartment you take it out and put it back in when you’re down with it.

Foley + Corinna Jet Set

I have an obsession with Foley + Corinna clothing. My closet is filled with their amazing designs. And in the past I’ve owned a bag or two by them and never really had anything negative to say about the brand. Except, I admit I never understood why their bags didn’t come with dust covers. I know it’s a small request, but what can I say I just like to keep my bags tucked in at night.

See by Chloe Chocolate Bunny

It’s almost Easter and the yearly chocolate covered Bunny Season. And I can’t think of a better bag than this by Chloe for the occasion.

The ‘Rock Bunny Clutch’ is by Chloe’s secondary sister line, See By Chloe (the more affordable line). The bunny is made of leather with a metallic bronze sheen and an interior tummy that’s lined with a cotton twill. She’s not as small as she seems.. measures in at approx 13″ width x 5″ height x 5″ depth. It’s meant to be carried on the wrist with the loop strap. As you can see in the pictures below the strap is removable, so you know, if you ever wanna carry it coddled like a stuffed animal, that option is there – but why anyone would is beyond me.

Betsey Johnson Rosey Tulle Clutch

I’m 25, and I’m still incredibly girlie. I love anything pink, that’s fluffy, has rhinestones or even looks like a tutu. I have a fear of growing older. Not because I may age but more because getting older sometimes isn’t fun. I loved not having to worry about anything. Nowadays we have to worry about jobs, paychecks, how we are going to pay bills, etc. It’s not easy being a grownup! Seems like your mind is going a mile a minute when you are.

Whenever I see a bag that brings me back to my childhood I secretly want it. When I was little everything I owned was pink and I loved over the top girlie things. The Betsey Johnson “Rosey” Tulle Frame Bag is adorable and is definitely a bag I would of wanted when I was a child. It literally looks like something you would find in the toy store dress up isle.

I’m not sure if I would use this bag now but it sure is cute! I suppose if I had something pink for it to go with it would look pretty but considering my wardrobe is all black and white it’s pretty much useless in my collection. That doesn’t stop me from loving it though. I think what catches my eye the most about this bag is the rose design featured on the front! It reminds me of a ballerina’s big pink tutu!

Alexander Mcqueen Novak Clutch

I love clutches but I especially love them when they are by Alexander McQueen. McQueen’s clutches don’t look any other clutches out there. My favorite clutch by Alexander McQueen is definitely the “Skull Box” clutch. I love how it’s the same clutch every season just with different colors or designs. The price isn’t always enjoyable but each clutch literally looks like a piece of art.

Sometimes McQueen has other clutches that catch my eye. The last clutch that I absolutely loved but never purchased was the “Faithful Glove” clutch. It was unique and very edgy. I recently just spotted the “Pale Flesh” Clutch and I surprisingly liked it. I normally don’t like light clutches but this one screams elegance.

Bag Trend: Leopard Print

I’ve always had a weakness for animal prints. Although in recent months there has been a flood of “Leopard Print” bags to hit the market just in time for spring and summer for the yearly animal print tradition. But my question is, has it lost its wow factor? Or is it just one of those trends that will come back yearly, regardless.

Every designer under the sun has their own interpretation of the Leopard Print design. And what’s great about this is that there are so many different variations out there of the same idea, so its not exactly like you’re getting the same thing.

Let me near your thoughts.

Here are a couple new bags fresh off the designers rack for spring..

Kate Spade Devote Modern Lissy – $295
A plump little bucket-style tote in embossed leather and 14-karat gold accents.
