The Marc Jacobs Preppy Hillier is not a new bag to the scene, we’ve actually seen it around for some time now, and it remains in the spotlight. It’s really fantastic how this bag has received the “Highest Rating” by shoppers for over a month now over at ShopBop and has been stuck on the best “Sellers Lists” over at Saks Fifth Avenue and a couple other boutiques. The bags fame speaks for itself.
Checking Net-a-Porter every Monday, Wednesday and Friday has become an afternoon ritual for me. Those are the three days a week that the designer boutique gets a fresh batch of items in, and on some occasions, the really hot pieces sell out fast.

I absolutely love going to the zoo and seeing all the different animals, especially the Tiger and Lion exhibits. So when I saw this new version of the Mulberry Alexa was made to resemble the Bengal Tiger print, I was beyond interested in taking a second peek. I really do adore the classic everyday style of the Alexa, but the Bengal Tiger calf hair is a bit much for me.
I don’t by any means have any sort of problem with the fact that this bag is made of calf hair, I love pony hair and exotic bags, but just not on this bag. I love the classic leather version, which by the way retails for only $1150, one third the price of the $3,370.95 Bengal Tiger Version.
Turquoise is one of those colors that I will never get sick of! Especially when it comes to accessories. I absolutely love the bright eye-catching shade and now that it’s spring, almost summer something tells me were going to be seeing a lot more of this color.

There are few things in the fashion world that you can count on cycling every single year. But that is exactly what happens with nautical themed fashion items! Just like clockwork, the nautical theme stuff makes an appearance every year around this time. Personally, I don’t have anything against nautical themes… just as long as it is done tastefully. Anchors and sail boats? No, thank you! But something as simple as a blue and white stripe can give you the impression of a nautical theme, without going (hehe!) overboard!
