Chloe Darla Bag

My biggest complaint about very structured handbags is the fact that no matter how attractive they are, most are extremely uncomfortable to carry. With the stiff corners and heavy textiles, most handles are either rolled or just as structured and shoulder-aching themselves. Chloé proves that structured pieces can be just as comfortable with one of their latest, the Darla Shoulder Bag.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Bianca Dreams of Monte Carlo Wallet

I’m usually one for neutral colors but when I spotted the Marc by Marc Jacobs “Bianca” Dreams of Monte Carlo Continental Wallet I was amazed. What caught my eye the most was how beautiful the color is. For me to actually say a color is beautiful, it must really be because I’m on the morbid side. I only like black and white and when a color catches my eyes it’s usually gorgeous. The color is called “Ocean Sapphire” and it’s definitely eye popping and perfect for the Summer. Summer is all about color and this is probably one of the more prettiest colors in existence!

Elliot Mann Your Bag

If you have been following my posts, then you probably know that my mom was a self-proclaimed hippie. And when I was a teenager myself, I was fascinated by this. I loved checking out my mom’s hippie clothes and would sometimes borrow things to wear. They were pretty cool, after all. During this time, I loved those cute little “hippie” bags that you could find just about anywhere. My favorite one was a cream crocheted crossbody. And even though I sort of grew out of the look as I grew older (I said sort of!), I still find myself secretly adoring those cute little “hippie” bags all over again. So you can probably understand why I think the Elliot Mann Your Bag is pretty darn cool!

Fossil Vintage Reissue II Messenger Bag

When is comes to a casual everyday style, I love the look of a simple leather handbag. My favorites right now are those satchel-messenger styles that you see with big name designers. Some visual references for what I’m talking about would be Mulberry’s Alexa Bag and Proenza Schouler’s PS1 Satchel. They have this modern vintage feeling about them and they look great paired with jeans and a t-shirt. They are, in their own way, very iconic pieces. But in this mini quest of sorts, I have discovered that getting this great look doesn’t necessarily need to come in the form of a designer bag. Don’t get me wrong, I love the two handbags I mentioned above. However, they are rather expensive and my interest in this look may not survive the investment. I think that is why I am finding myself drawn to this look-for-less pictured here. Meet the Fossil Vintage Reissue II Messenger Bag!

Fendi Forever Hobo

The joy of warm weather brings the prettiest handbags to the sales racks. Prints, floral and vibrant colors are always attractive in every brand, but when you have a high-end designer piece sporting a striking shade of color, it is practical to want to adapt it as your one and only summer splurge. Fendi has one of the most attractive pieces I have seen this season, greet the ‘Forever’ Metallic Calfskin Hobo by the Italian House.

Michael Kors Joan Bag

“My Mother travels constantly and loves the idea of a bad that’s both utilitarian and luxurious, so I created the Joan bad for her. I hope you enjoy it as much as she does!” – Michael Kors

Those are the exact words hanging from the MICHAEL Michael Kors “Joan” bag. I know, because I fell in love with this bag today and bought it today at Bloomingdales. I’ve been looking for a new black handbag for a while and this one instantly caught my attention. I would like it a tad bit better if it was available in gold hardware but the silver hardware is good enough.

By just looking at this bag on the display, it looked very simple. When I had the sales associate take it down for me it was far more than simple. The “Joan” bag screams classy but sophisticated, which is not my style at all but I love it. I’m more into edgy handbags that catch your eye but when I held this bag in front of the mirror I was sold!

Marc by Marc Jacobs Ozzie Aiden Bag

Mr. Jacobs and his funky line, Marc by Marc Jacobs, never seems to let us fans down. There is always a perfect addition available for every handbag type of gal. Our recent find has us raving about how diverse Mr. Jacobs keeps his collection. This time around, there are no bizarre characters or giant logos to cause disruption; instead, we’re presented with a design that brings classiness and at a decent price tag too! The Ozzie Square Baby Aiden Bag is presented in a dome shaped design that resembles the cutest bowling bag possibly available. To the gal who dislikes the hand carried look, you have the ability to carry over the shoulder or cross body by means of a matching detachable body strap. The supple color of Faded Mauve allows this piece to be carried from the day to the night scene, and of course the finishing touch of gold toned hardware emphasizes the color, perfectly.

Tasha Heart Clutch

It’s no secret that I love evening clutches especially ones that are sparkly and shiny! As soon as I laid my eyes on the Tasha “Heart” Clutch, I screamed! I’ve always thought hearts were so beautiful and to see one as a clutch is adorable! I’ve seen a clutch just like this before in gold and I beat myself up all the time for not buying it. To see one again at a reasonable price makes me very happy.

I have quite a few evening bags and I always tell myself how many more do I need especially when I have a Swarovski one. The only thing better than a Swarovski evening clutch is a Judith Leiber one and as much as I love those I can’t see myself ever paying thousands for something I only use on occasions. However, I think the “Heart” clutch is a must!
