Miu Miu Pelouche Faux Fur Bag

We are already well into July and it is 100 degrees outside. It’s hot and humid, the typical summer weather for where I live. I can definitely tell you that fur is the farthest thing from my mind right now. It makes me hot just looking at it! But I think my fellow Bag Bliss blogger, Deysa, was on to something when she presented the Prada Eco Mongolia Garden Tote. From the look of things, fur is going to be the thing for Fall 2011. Not just any fur, but faux fur. I think I agree with Deysa, definitely not something you would imagine coming from the creative minds behind our favorite premium designer brands.

Lanvin Dear Danae Cabas Tote

Since 1867 the House of Lanvin has been known for chic sophistication. Fashion appreicated by fashion lovers, not necessarily something for the masses, but something special. For Lanvin’s designer, Alber Ebaz, beauty and comfort go hand in hand. That is what I see in the luxurious, easy and multi-functional Dear Danae Cabas Tote.

Need a bag for day, travel and casual evenings? This one will take you from 7 a.m. to midnight. Sure, it’s surprisingly clever to have a detachable clutch that provides extra functionality as well as subtle design detail. It is deftly superior in the design of a foldover bag that looks great…. well, folded over as well as full-size. I can imagine this being the perfect trip bag. Moderate size for the flight out, super size to handle the extra items I bought that don’t fit in my luggage and a cute little clutch for quick errands or casual evenings. The TSA will never know you actually have three bags instead of the allowed one!

Anya Hindmarch: Penny and Inspire Totes

There’s something more than the colorful canvas, theme, and easy to wear designs by Anya Hindmarch totes that catch my attention. It’s the simple wit that her pieces carry that allows her totes to stand out above your average designer canvas accessory. You won’t find fancy leathers or exotic furs on this piece, but an eye-catching statement that’ll get the general public smirking. The latest two to the Hindmarch collection are the Penny and Inspire Totes.

Rebecca Minkoff Affair Bag

I’m pretty much obsessed with anything vintage or has the appearance that it came from the past. Era’s of our past fascinate me to the point I think I was truly born in another era and have perhaps been reincarnated. Who knows, but one thing is for sure I’m definitely an old fashion kind of gal, especially when it comes to stylish pieces.

Ever since I can remember, I’ve always wanted a Chanel bag. My Grandmother and my Aunt were true fashionista’s and I always remember seeing them carrying about the coveted bags. The chains, the quilted patterns, everything screams gorgeous about a Chanel bag. As with any fashionable piece though, all Chanel bags come with a hefty price. Any time I spend a lot of money on a bag I always turn to Louis Vuitton, one of my all time favorite designers.

Il Bisonte Handbags

Wanny Di Filippo, an eclectic Italian designer, has a passion for bison. It is so intense that he owns over 1000 of them as expressed through sculpture, drawings, engravings and other objects. His love is so deep that he named his line of handbags and accessories Il Bisonte. With stores worldwide, I only recently discovered his line via the luxury website, Luisa Via Roma.

With so much interested in structured bags, studded, fringed, over-sized and a plethora of other treatments, it was refreshing to see a line that is uncluttered, pure, chic and supple as many of his bags are done. Oh, there’s an ode to the wild west and his passion for bison, but mostly, you will see clean design, and essential materials of luxurious cowhide, cotton canvas and more.

Jeffrey Campbell Girls We Hated In High School Handbags – The Lopes Bag

When I was in high school, I loved hippie-inspired stuff. It was actually quite popular at the time. For handbags, I absolutely loved the little crossbody styles that were floating around. One of my favorites was a cream colored crocheted bag that my mom had found for me. But I also loved fringe (and still do today)! So when I saw the bag you see here, I instantly thought of my high school days. I suppose it is sort of fitting though since this bag is from the Girls We Hated in High School Collection by Jeffery Campbell. It is called the Lopes Bag and it is one of many styles from this collection geared toward a more youthful crowd.

Marc by Marc Jacobs “Snake On A Wire” Bag

As I post about over and over again, I love clutches especially evening clutches. They make life so much easier, as least for me they do. If I’m carrying around a big purse you can bet your money it probably looks like a mini tornado went through the inside of it. I’m not very organized but when it comes to a clutch I always am. Probably because I’m limited of what I can and can’t put in it.

The MARC by MARC JACOBS “Snake On A Wire” Clutch is the perfect example of an everyday clutch. I’m not too crazy about the color but I love the style of it. It’s simple, and you can throw a few things in it. It’s kind of one of those grab and go type of clutches.

Diane von Furstenberg Leopard Laptop Case

Diane von Furstenberg has designed another batch of really cute laptop cases and this time they feature leopard polka dots!

I love Diane von Furstenberg, she’s one of my favorite designers at the moment. I absolutely love how her pieces are either funky or classic. At the moment, I only own Diane von Furstenberg luggage and it’s amazing. It’s durable and still looks brand new.

Louis Vuitton Vernis Alma BB

Jennifer Love Hewitt looked so put together at the Foundation Polo Challenge, an event to benefit the American Friends of the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry. I love her navy blue dress from Monique L’Huillier and blue-gray peep-toe pumps from Christian Louboutin. But what is this lovely nude handbag I see accenting her look? It looks like a miniature version of the Louis Vuitton Vernis Alma. I haven’t seen a pint-sized Alma since Louis Vuitton’s little satin pieces from about a decade ago. So I guess it was about time for Louis Vuitton to once again experiment with favorite style-inspired minis. If you ask me, the Vernis Alma was an excellent choice!
