Sass & Bide Music Series Embroidered Clutch

How was everyone’s summer? Did you go on vacation? I did! I spent about a week hiking around in the Rocky Mountains. Nothing but beautiful scenery everywhere! But the mountains weren’t the only thing to look at while I was there. I’m talking about all that shopping! Gift shops and little boutiques lined the streets everywhere I went. My favorite thing to look at? Believe it or not, I loved all of the woven Southwestern artwork! So you can imagine how delighted I was to see this beautiful little clutch after I returned home! Introducing the Sass & Bide Music Series Embroidered Clutch!

Diane von Furstenberg Kaitlin

Do young women crochet anymore? We primarily associate it with doily making, scarves, mittens and the overly challenging idea of making a sweater. There is even the odd star-spangled handbag that appears on the arm of one’s grandmother. But, on a fashionable chic woman who emulates boho … perhaps. How about a urban professional or soccer mom with style? Absolutely! With the Diane Von Furstenberg Kaitlyn Woven Shoulder Bag, crochet is hip and fashion forward.

LeSportsac Joyrich Laptop Case

It’s no surprise that I love laptop cases. May I also mention, that I still have not purchased one for my Mac Book Pro. I’ve seen many that I have actually liked but by the time I make it to the store they are always sold out or not made anymore. Just my luck!

Whenever I post about handbags, it’s usually a black leather handbag with gold hardware that I absolutely love. That seems to be my thing these days, black and white clothes and black and gold when it comes to handbags.

Now I think I’ve found the perfect laptop case for me and it’s the LeSportsac “Joyrich” Laptop Case! Of course I love it because it’s black and what color hardware does it feature? Gold! I’m pretty sure this is a winner for me, as it matches ALL my favorite handbags that I own! Even the inside of the case features a black liner with gold chains! Says my name all over it!

Sequoia Kayan Bag

I always use to be a fan of satchels. They were always my go-to bag and I even bought quite a few of the Louis Vuitton “Speedy” handbags because I loved them so much. Literally every bag I bought was a satchel and I never considered shoulder bags.

As I got older, I realized wearing heels everyday and having a satchel adding to my back pain wasn’t ideal. After a while, satchels can get very heavy especially if you carry a lot in your bag. Now, I’m more of a fan of shoulder bags. Doesn’t hurt my back as much and they don’t seem to be to heavy.

Loewe Ostrich Amazona Bag

Thirty-year-old Brazilian model, Alessandra Ambrosio was spotted the other day while out and about with some friends. I’m not going to lie, I absolutely love her style! For the occasion, she wore a turquoise strapless maxi dress. She completed her look with some tan/nude accessories, including a leather belt and flat sandals. What caught my attention most, however, was the nude handbag she was toting! It’s the Loewe Ostrich Amazona Bag and, wow, it is gorgeous!

Bottega Veneta Frayed Intrecciato

Well-worn denim, the perfect vintage Chanel jacket and an amazing Bottega Veneta handbag. What do they have in common? Sometimes being a little frayed around the edges is a good thing.

Bottega Veneta has some of the most incredibly sumptuous leathers on the planet. Supple and luxurious as well as easy to wear. While many premium designer handbags are structured (think Hermes Birkin/Kelly and Chanel 2.55), Bottega Veneta is the ultimate in squishy. Their hobos are iconic and highly coveted by the fashion elite and aspirational shoppers like me!

Kate Spade Westward Wanderlust Satchel

It seems to be a trend at the moment for handbags to look like brief cases. A lot of designers are getting in on the trend and I’m liking it. I’ve never been one for trends but this trend is a bit of a mystery to me. I love the whole idea of a bag looking like a hidden purse. Kind of make people think you are on your way to work only to find out that it’s your bag.

The Westward Collection from Kate Spade New York “Wanderlust” Satchel is a gorgeous example of a briefcase turned purse. It doesn’t look like it would be a handbag and I loved it. If I saw someone down the street carrying this bag I would instantly think books or a lap top was it not a wallet, makeup and other goodies.
