Milly Allie textured-leather Clutch

I think we all know by now that I have an obsession with black leather handbags that feature gold hardware. It’s my all time favorite combination and anytime I see a bag with this fabulous combination I usually drool and want it. To me, the combination looks stunning and really pops at you. I have two handbags like this and I can’t wait to get my hands on more!

Miu Miu Stage Clutch

Miu Miu’s new Cruise Collection for 2012 is all about over-the-top glamour! It is definitely a change from the simple and minimalistic designs Miu Miu has been putting out lately. But it is a new year and there is no better time than now to do a little experimenting. My favorite piece from this collection is the Metallic ‘Stage’ Cristal Mini Bag. It is very similar to the Nappa Cristal Clutch currently available through the designer’s official website. However, this mini bag is… well… mini! It measures only 7 inches by 5 inches, which makes it even cuter!

CC SKYE Onie Messenger

I remember when I was in 9th Grade the biggest craze was messenger bags. Literally every girl, out of the 200 of us, had a messenger bag. It was odd to see someone actually hauling around their books in a book bag. The boys used book bags, the girls used messenger bags that’s just the way it was. My aunt had taken me to Macy’s and let me pick one out. I picked out one by Guess? and it was $32. In reality, hardly any of my books fit in it but boy did I feel stylish. I think 2 books fit inside it and I had to carry the rest in my arms.

Rebecca Minkoff Stunned Jess Bag

I’m convinced Rebecca Minkoff is the queen of designing handbags. Everything she designs is beautiful and worth the money. I just discovered her a few years ago and she’s already at the top of my list of favorite designers. Lately, every single bag she releases I instantly fall in love with it. Now, I’m swooning over the “Stunned” Jess Bag! It’s small, keeps me organized and perfect for those days when I’m in a rush and don’t want to carry much.

Horse + Nail Winchester Feather Bag

Fur was a hot item in the handbag world just a few months ago. Even now as we move into the new year, I’m still seeing some floating around here and there. It is an okay trend for the fall and winter months, but it isn’t something you can take with you as we move into spring. What about feathers though? They are fur-like in appearance, but they have a light and airy feeling to them. Are they really doable on a handbag? When I saw the Horse + Nail Winchester Bag, my curiosity was certainly sparked. I mean, you see feathers on all sorts of other accessories. How hard could feathers on a handbag be?

Maison Martin Margiela Grocery Bag

Designer grocery bags seem to be a trend these days. It’s so funny, that a bag I’ve seen my whole life is now being made in leather and made to look fashionable. Every time I go the grocery store I always get the items I’ve purchased put in a plastic bag. The very plastic bags I use to put more garbage in when I get home and then off to the garbage can they go.

I’ve seen quite a few designer grocery bags lately but my favorite has to be the Maison Martin Margiela “Studded” Grocery Bag. I’ll be honest, the studs are what sold me! The studs kind of kill that grocery bag look and give it more of an stylish edge. I could see myself carrying this bag anywhere not just to the grocery store.

Carlos Falchi Straw & Python Tote

I’ve always held a weakness for straw handbags. Perhaps I’ll never get my money’s worth out of them, as a leather or canvas selection will most definitely make my first carrying pick. I’m really admiring what Carlos Falchi has brought to the bag racks this season with the Straw & Python Tote. It’s the daring and feisty collaboration of the straw textile with stunning python skin, creating one truly remarkable piece.

Prada Cabochon & Rhinestone Raso Clutch

Prada hasn’t really been on my radar these last few months, maybe even longer. Those basic structured pieces are fab for sure. But after seeing the same thing over and over again, you kind of start just glancing over them as you browse through the sea of handbags. So it’s nice to see Prada coming out with some more unusual designs. Check this one out, for example. It certainly is an eye-catcher! Introducing the Prada Blue Cabochon & Rhinestone Raso Clutch!

Favorite Online Store Zappos!

Whenever I’m on the internet searching for fashionable accessories, I always go to Zappos. Zappos has a great selection of designers and the best part about them is that they don’t charge you tax or shipping! No tax or shipping in this economy helps a lot! Whenever I’m looking for anything fashion related, I always check to see if Zappos has it first. Tax is never so bad but the shipping some websites charge is ridiculous especially when you’re buying something so small.
