Rebecca Minkoff Diamond Raffia Beach Tote

Spring is just around the corner and you know what that means! That’s right, it’s time for our handbags to loosen up a bit. The best way to do that, of course, is to break out your favorite fabric piece. Fabric handbags are so light and airy, perfect for putting a spring in your step as those warmer months approach. My favorite fabric on handbags has got to be linen. It has this great look and feel to it that is nothing short of luxurious. Rebecca Minkoff is one designer that is no stranger to linen. So it really was no surprise to find some linen pieces pop up in this season’s collection. It was this piece that really caught my eye though. Meet the Rebecca Minkoff Diamond Raffia Beach Tote!

Dolce & Gabbana ‘Miss Alma Lace’ Lambskin Tote

Not all spring florals are vibrant and vivid. Dolce & Gabbana presents an array of florals in lace this season in bold black. Lace has always been one of my favorite lightweight fabrics and we’ll see more of this whimsical trend this year.

Wonderful florals in neutral shades seem to hold each season, and when enclosing handbags, they’re a hit among women of all ages. Check out this black and cream creation by the Italian House Dolce & Gabbana.

This oversized artistic tote will take out any typical solid black handbag. Lined in lush lace and trimmed in smooth lambskin leather, this accessory is well suited for office wear to evening nights out.

Dress this up or pair with blouse and jeans as black lace is easily adaptable and a fashion must have, it’s visible that the ‘Miss Alma Lace’ will instantly glam up any boring outfit. Most lace accessories come in smaller accessories, but this oversized tote will come handy to your daily essentials and more.

Burberry Raffia Whipstitch Tote

image: burberry.com
Burberry’s inner artisan is revealed as they welcome the warmer climates with their Whipstitch Bag, a true Prorsum beauty. The whipstitch / woven feature is yearned by many during the spring and summer season, along with the color-blocking trend that is highly popularized right now. Fuse these two trends together and you’ll get this unusual yet colorful collaboration that is sun ready.

It’s obvious that this isn’t your typical Burberry accessory as the Houses classic plaid is visibly absent, but the raffia blend offers a distinct choice of palette. This tote can be effortlessly paired with casual or dress attire, and with the light to dark hue variation, you can carry this shoulder bag throughout the year.

Moni Moni Splendor Intrex Bag

I was checking out the Moni Moni Splendor Intrex Bag today, when something suddenly occurred to me. I had not seen a Moni Moni handbag in ages. I was curious and looked up the last time I wrote about a bag from this designer. Turns out, it was the Moni Moni Lilies Bag and it was exactly 3 years ago to this day (February 26, 2009). Holy cow! I guess that means a post about this designer is long overdue!

Newbark Patchwork Clutch

Usually when I think of the word “patchwork”, some very unpleasant things come to mind. In particular, I think of the Coach patchwork styles. For me, most of those were epic fails in the handbag fashion category. They just weren’t all that attractive. So you can imagine that I was a bit wary when I saw “patchwork” in the Newbark Oversized Patchwork Clutch. Was it as bad as I thought it was going to be? To my surprise, it was quite the opposite!

Akris Alex Cervo Tote in Lime Green

Lemon yellow is the hot color this season! It is literally everywhere. I was thinking though. Lemon yellow may be hot, but what about lime green? It can be just as eye-catching and it goes great with a cool color palette (i.e. blues, greens, purples). Not everyone likes to wear warm tones after all, so I’m thinking this might be a good thing. Just check out the Akris Alex Cervo, I think you will see what I mean!

Celebrities Pick the Coach Kristin Woven Satchel

celebrities pictured above: Eva Longoria & Rebecca Romijin
For the past couple of weeks I have found myself obsessing at the All-American brand of Coach, simply check out their new products and leather goods if you haven’t done so already.

It’s quite visible that Coach did some serious renovations at their design headquarters. They aimed for sophistication, lively and chic, in which they definitely accomplished. The one of many bags that I have been eyeing for my collection is the Kristin Woven Leather Round Satchel, an editor favorite.

Tory Burch 797 Colorblock Satchel

The color blocking trend is still going strong. I have seen some really bright stuff, which can be so beautiful. What better way to make a bold statement? But if crazy color combinations aren’t your cup of tea, you can still partake in the color blocking trend. There are a lot of neutral options out there for you to enjoy. Take, for example, the Tory Burch 797 Satchel!
