RED Valentino Dip-dyed Bow Satchel

Color blocking and Tie-Dye are taking over the fashion industry by storm. Sometimes I see the oddest colors paired together but yet the outfit still looks amazing. However, I’ve never been a fan of tie-dye and I probably never will be. To me that’s a trend that should of stayed in the 70′s and never came out. It makes me shake my head but I do like the dip-dye trend. It doesn’t exactly look like tie-dye and blends in very well.

The RED Valentino Dip-dyed Bow Satchel is cute and the colors look great together. What caught my eye was the hinged-snap closure. I love anything old school looking and to me that type of closure brings a classic feel to a bag. You don’t see it often and it always makes an impression on me. I do think this satchel would look cuter if it was smaller. At this size the bow looks a little too gaudy but it’s still stunning.

Serpui Marie Marrakech Minaudiere

Serpui Marie’s handcrafted handbags are inspired by the tropical gardens that surrounded her during her childhood in Brazil. Although I have never heard of this designer, her inspiration clearly shows in her creations. I love the mix of bold colors and natural elements. Apparently, I am not the only one who feels this way. Celebrities such as Madonna and Jennifer Aniston have been spotted sporting Serpui Marie pieces. What I particularly love though is the Serpui Marie Marrakech Minaudiere! The second I saw it, all I could think was “wow”.

Kate Spade Jane Quilted Tote

Here’s a sky blue that’s set to make it into your summer time wardrobe. There’s something about this totes distinctive silhouette that is pleasant to the gal with a taste for class. Perhaps this desired figure should be credited to the popularity of the Grand Shopping Tote by French Couture brand, Chanel. From a distance, a fun hued GST may come to mind, but I say this bag is actually a fun version of a shopper on chains by Kate Spade New York, meet the Jane Quilted Tote.

Anya Hindmarch Ipanema Straw Clutch

Straw handbags are everywhere right now. But I suppose that is to be expected, given the fact that summer is just around the corner. When it comes to straw handbags though, they typically come in the form of a beach tote. Surely, there is nothing wrong with straw beach totes. It’s just that it’s more fun to see this material being used in more unexpected ways. That’s why I’m loving the Anya Hindmarch Ipanema Straw Clutch!

Anya Hindmarch Valorie Rubber Clutch

Right now, I’m severely obsessed with handbags that have shoulder chain straps on them. I’m not one into jewelry so it’s crazy that I would like a handbag to have more “bling” on it, but I love it. To me, Chain straps give off a sense of sophistication and that’s why I believe Chanel has always stuck to them. If done right, they really make a bag look classier.

The Anya Hindmarch “Valorie” Rubber Clutch is an interesting bag that also features a chain strap. What caught my eye the most about this bag was indeed the chain strap and the color of it. Beautiful shades of blue are all over fashion right now and shockingly I’m liking it. I’ve never been one to like the color blue but I’m really loving shades of “Cobalt” and “Light Blue”. They’re pretty and are great colors to strut around in the Spring and Summer seasons.

Antik Batik Tessa Cabas Tote

Nothing shouts luxurious like the interwoven designs of a smooth leather tote bag. Basket-weaved accessories always make a great alternative to a solid-leather handbag as their textured assemblies make attractive selections and add ladylike flair to your daily look.

If you want a luxe leather woven accessory, there’s an alternative to the high-end designer pieces out there. This Antik Batik is great for the savvy spending Bagista that prefers an alternative to the high-end four-digit price tag tote.

Tory Burch Reva Oversized Clutch

On Friday I visited one of my favorite stores, Nordstrom Rack. You can really find some amazing deals in there especially with shoes and handbags. The last time I was in Nordstrom Rack I stumbled upon a pair of Tory Burch flats that I was able to get for $70! $70 is a steal when the original price is $200, so needless to say I was in heaven that day. On Friday, I saw a black leather clutch that featured golden hardware. It was by Vince Camuto and it was stunning. It was also priced at $70 and something told me not to get it. Now I know why because while browsing the internet today, I spotted and instantly fell in love with the Tory Burch “Reva” Oversized Clutch primarily because it matches my new flats perfectly!

I’m not going to lie. I write about a lot of fringed handbags. I don’t know what it is, but for some reason I find fringe fascinating. Proenza Schouler PS11

I absolutely love the look of the Proenza Schouler PS1 Satchel! The classic messenger bag shape and luxurious leather make it an iconic piece that just about any bagista would treasure for years. There are also other PS1 styles floating around out there such as a tote and a crossbody pouch. They all have the same “look” as the PS1 Satchel. It is this look that I have come to associate with this designer’s handbags. So when I stumbled upon the Proenza Schouler PS11 you see here, I did not immediately recognize it as being from this designer.
