Botkier Eden Satchel

I love Botkier handbags! They are so stylish and affordable, what isn’t there to like? They have been so popular among celebrities too. Whether it is on the arms of celebrities or everyday people walking down the street, there is one bag I haven’t seen very much of and that is the Botkier Eden Satchel. There were some magazine advertisements featuring the color-blocked version and then… nothing. Well, I stumbled across the latest version of this lovely style and couldn’t believe my eyes. Meet the Botkier Quilted Eden Satchel!

Totem Salvaged Flag Appliqued Clutch

Wow, I cannot believe it is almost Memorial Day. It is literally just around the corner. Where has the spring season gone? Memorial Day cookouts and picnics, here we come! So in honor of Memorial Day, I thought I would throw a little red, white, and blue into the mix. Remember when people would wear red, white, and blue for this holiday? Perhaps not quite as much as for the Fourth of July, but this patriotic color combination has long been a Memorial Day “favorite”. Jewelry, especially. And clothing too. What about handbags though? Well… yes, there are a few of those floating around. The one you see here particularly caught my eye. Introducing the Totem Salvaged Appliquéd Cotton Clutch!

Dooney and Bourke Florentine Vachetta Satchel

Not too long ago, my good buddy and fellow TBFer was asking about the Dooney and Bourke Florentine Vachetta Satchel. She posted a couple colors and asked everyone what they thought. After some positive responses, she decided to order it. Well, ever since then, I have not been able to get this bag out of my mind. Admittedly, I have not been one of Dooney and Bourke’s biggest fans lately… so this is a bit weird for me. Just look at this bag though! If it hadn’t been for the logo on the front, I would have never guessed it was from Dooney and Bourke.

Emilio Pucci Piazatto Tote

Right now beach totes can be found in abundance but very few can actually exceed the cute margin and into the mesmerizing phase. Say hello to this ultra chic Piazzato Tote by Emilio Pucci. I’ve always been a fan of Pucci’s vibrant prints on clothing and accessories but when found on oversized summer ready totes, they’re even more electrifying!

Rebecca Minkoff Corn Husk Boyfriend Bag

Corn is an odd thing to talk about, especially on a blog dedicated to handbags. What do we know about corn? It is okay to eat, I suppose. Most people don’t realize it isn’t a vegetable, although it is advertised as such. Corn is a C4 plant, which simply means it can conserve water by taking in carbon dioxide at night. Plus corn is used to make all sorts of things from diesel to plastics. And now… handbags? Well, sort of. Meet the Rebecca Minkoff Corn Husk Boyfriend Tote!

Rebecca Minkoff Allison Cosmetic Case

Put your Caboodles away and give into something a little more on the couture side. I recently ran into the Allison Cosmetic Case by Rebecca Minkoff, an attractive collaboration of a makeup bag and a travel piece. I never understood the concept of these type of accessories as they seemed fairly limited in space and oddly shaped versus your standard makeup pouch.

Tory Burch Basketweave Straw Tote

It’s not even Summer yet and it’s scorching hot here in South Florida. The humidity is horrible and the really high temperatures are making it quite annoying. It’s not very fun to go outside and have the leather on your handbags change color or crack. The best type of handbag to carry around during the Summer is a straw tote. They don’t have drastic color changes and the straw stays put for the most part. Even when it’s wet, the straw doesn’t change or get stains on it.

B-Low The Belt Twiggy Fringe Bag

If you love fringe, I have just the bag for you! The B-Low The Belt “Twiggy” Fringe Bag is perfect for the modern day fringe lover. You can’t even see the handbag itself because it is surrounded by fringe.

I have to admit, I’ve never been a fan of anything featuring any type of fringe. I mean I guess a little bit of it is fun on a dress because every time you move it’s going to move with you. It’s also not common to see someone wearing fringe unless they are going to a theme party. Even though I’m not a big fan of fringe, I have to admit I’m kind of digging the “Twiggy” handbag primarily because it looks so incredibly different.

Yves Saint Laurent Studded Boxer Satchel

I haven’t been paying much attention to Yves Saint Laurent lately. That’s really too bad because this designer has some of the most breathtaking bags you’ll ever see. Yves Saint Laurent is most popular for their classic pieces. You know, the kind you can carry for many years and they will never go out of style. That’s why it was no surprise when Jennifer’s pick, the Yves Saint Laurent Roady, was named the eleventh “It Bag” for 2011 by StyleFind as part of a contest they were hosting last year. The fans voted and the Roady won! Just because Yves Saint Laurent has a lot of classic styles, that doesn’t mean this designer is lacking when it comes to fun pieces. Quite the contrary! Take a look at the Yves Saint Laurent Studded Boxer Satchel and you will see what I mean!
