Tory Burch Claire Bucket Bag

Summer is here and it’s hot as ever. I live in Florida and it’s scorching hot outside. I love fashion, so I won’t sacrifice it for the sake of the heat. However, most people forget style when it becomes really hot and turn to flip flops, tank tops and clutches. Even during the evening they won’t dress up and wear really light clothes and carry hardly anything. Can’t say I blame them if I wasn’t a fashionista I would probably do the same. I often try to convince myself to be a little more casual in the Summer but my inner fashionista always makes me dress to kill.

Inspired by Claire Jane Peacock Feather Clutch

After 17 years of working in the film industry, Claire Jane Vranian decided to redirect her creativity. In 2009, she launched her own handbag line called Inspired by Claire Jane. Making the switch from producing commercials and TV shows to designing handbags is certainly an interesting story. But I am finding myself more interested in the handbags themselves. This emerging designer is known for using feathers… lots of feathers. One piece that particularly caught my eye is the Inspired by Claire Jane Peacock Feather Clutch.

ANNDRA NEEN Mirror & Pin Clutch

We all know I love eye catching and unique accessories. Anything that’s different looking and not currently a trend, I usually love. I like to be the odd one in a crowd. I’m a firm believer that everyone should be a leader instead of following the leader.

With that said, I’m absolutely in love with the ANNDRA NEEN “Mirror & Pin” Clutch. I will admit that I have never heard of ANNDRA NEEN before but the designer brand already has me as a fan. It was love at first sight with the “Mirror & Pin” Clutch and I would love to carry this baby around at night with me!

Rebecca Minkoff Jealous Bag

Rebecca Minkoff is by far my favorite handbag designer at the moment. Every time Shop Bop posts a new Rebecca Minkoff bag I fall in love. Every single design Mrs. Minkoff comes out with is always a hit and drop dead gorgeous. Right now, the “Jealous” satchel is making my heart go pitter patter! This purse is elegant, classy and most importantly fabulous!

Alexander McQueen Unicorn and Skull Clutch

It seems there is never a dull moment with Alexander McQueen, even now with Sarah Burton holding the reins. The designs never fail to fascinate me. I find them intriguing and I look forward to seeing what is new season after season. Of all things Alexander McQueen, however, nothing tops my list more than the Skull Clutches! They are insanely cool and it is amazing how this single design is given new life over and over again. It is no wonder I was excited to see this latest rendition. Meet the Alexander McQueen Unicorn and Skull Clutch!

Jil Sander Milton Clutch

When I think of minimalistic designs, I immediately think of Jil Sander. She truly is the master! For her, minimalistic does not have to equal boring. She will often use ultra bright colors to add some interest to her otherwise simple pieces. That is what I like about her designs! So what happens when she produces a piece that is just plain… well, plain? You get this clutch you see pictured here. Introducing the Jil Sander Milton Clutch!

RED Valentino Perforated Hobo

I always tend to have a soft spot for polka dots. I’m not sure why because polka dots seem kind of childish or clown-like to me. With that said, I’m sure it comes as no surprise that I would love the RED Valentino Perforated Hobo. I’ve never seen black polka dots featured on black leather before and I’m digging it! It’s different and looks amazing on this bag!

What I love most about this bag is that it’s slouchy. These type of bags are perfect for people, like me, that pretty much throw whatever they can find in their room. I kid you not, I put tons of makeup, wallets, hats, magazines, water bottles, snacks and even flats in my bags. So the bigger the bag, the better for me! Oh, and the zip side pockets are a huge plus! You can put hidden treasures that get lost easily in them, like lip gloss, a compact or your keys!

Sondra Roberts Woven Hobo ~ a Bottega Veneta Look-for-Less!

Interwoven leather fans know that this appealing technique on a handbag always comes off as feminine, striking and makes a great alternative to your typical leather accessory. I’m a fan of such textured accessories, they instantly up-notch your typical classic leather tote bag. No logos or flashy hardware is needed on these heavily textured pieces; the simple admiration of this technique is enough to draw bag-loving stares directly to its design.
