I’m not sure what it is, but Miss Marc has a funny way of warming my heart. Perhaps it is that adorable frown she always has on her face. It is like she is grumpy about something, but in a pouty or indifferent sort of way. Marc by Marc Jacobs stuff just wouldn’t be the same without her! So I suppose you can’t really blame me for liking the Marc by Marc Jacobs Miss Marc Packables Shopper. It is just too cute for me to not like it!
According to reports, Yves Saint Laurent‘s creative director Hedi Slimane is changing the name to Saint Laurent Paris. I mean personally I don’t really care for change. ‘SLP’ doesn’t really have quite the ring as ‘YSL’ and what does this mean for that classic YSL logo? Time will tell. WWD reports that the ‘Yves’ name drop will be introduced in the next few months and will be in place by the time Slimane debuts his first collection for Spring Summer 2013.

Seriously I can not believe this bag is in the sale section.. and for 30% off too! I love it’s petite drawstring style and that it’s a crossbody. This is one of those summer bags that I could totally see myself sporting while biking the streets or exploring the city on a casual summer day.
It is hard to imagine that Reed Krakoff’s eponymous label has only been in existence for a short period of time. It is even harder to imagine that Reed Krakoff was again named Accessory Designer of the Year by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) for 2012. That says a lot about his designs considering he was up against other designers such as Proenza Schouler and Alexander Wang. Granted, he is not a newcomer to the fashion industry. But his name has not been floating around out there as an actual label for very long. The fact that he won, however, is no surprise to me. His designs are awesome, after all. He already has quite a following. Personally, I like many of his designs. However, I have recently been focusing on the Reed Krakoff Altantique Tote. It seems to have this way of grabbing my attention and I keep going back to it over and over again.
Vince Camuto is not a designer that I commonly associate with handbags. When I think of Vince Camuto, I think of shoes. Shoes that are not only sexy and sophisticated, but shoes that have a little bit of edge too! Plus they are affordable, so you won’t need to take out a second mortgage just to fill your closet. So I thought to myself, perhaps Vince Camuto handbags are worth taking a look at. To be honest, they aren’t too bad if you’re looking for a classic leather style that is relatively inexpensive. Not bad for a gal on a budget! After examining several styles from this designer, I think I have found one that I like. Meet the Vince Camuto Andrea Bag!
There is no doubt that Proenza Schouler is currently enjoying a cult-like status in the handbag world. Who doesn’t want to get their hands on the highly coveted PS1 Leather Satchel? It truly is an iconic piece! But there is more to this designer than simply this one style. Proenza Schouler has a wide variety of handbags to choose from. If you’re not one who likes to follow the trends, then perhaps going with an alternative style from this designer would make a fun way to put a little spin on your personal style.
