Reed Krakoff Boxer Tote

My dream bag is the Hermès “Birkin” bag. I would imagine it’s on most fashionista’s wish list because the bag is drop dead gorgeous. I remember Sex and the City dedicated an episode to the stunning bag. Samantha wanted one and did not want to be put on the waiting list to get one. She lied that a celebrity wanted it, she got the bag and then the celebrity took it from her. At the end of the day Samantha didn’t get to keep the bag but was it lovely to see the bag all over the episode. I personally want a black “Birkin” with gold hardware. The bag is simple, classy and beautiful. I’m sure most women reading this don’t own one but would love to have one! I found a bag that kind of reminds me of the “Birkin” but it’s also just as beautiful. I bring to you the Reed Krakoff “Boxer” Tote.

Anya Hindmarch Vanity Kit

When I travel, I like to be as organized as possible. That way it anything is ever lost or missing, I know right away. I would say I most organized when it comes to my beauty essentials when traveling. I’m always afraid something is going to open and spill so I’m always extra careful. I’ve been looking for a case that would keep all my beauty essentials extra organized and I found the perfect one! The Anya Hindmarch Vanity Kit is the perfect accessory to help make traveling a little more neat.

This case is absolutely perfect! I love how there is a slot for every makeup brush you might own. For me, this is very important because all my brushes are by M.A.C and they cost a pretty penny. I carry them in a bunch now and if I had a case like this none of the brushes would ever go missing!

Maison Scotch Sequin Shopper

I just wrote in another post about the trends that always seem to resurface each year for the fall/winter season. One of those trends is perfect for the holiday season, but may be limited to a very narrow window of time. I’m talking about sequins! They can be a lot of fun! But you also have to be careful because you don’t want to look like a disco ball disaster either. That is the trick with most trends though, finding a good middle ground. That is why I am loving the Maison Scotch Sequin Shopper!

Why is this sequined tote so awesome? Well, for starters, it is made of super soft lambskin leather rather than thin and flimsy fabric. The sequins are two-tone, black on one side and silver on the other. This creates a great texture, whichever way the sequins happen to be flipped. Also notice that the sequins are only adorning the front side of the bag. While that may sound “cheap” at first, it is actually a really good idea.

Mulberry Oversized Zigzag Bag

When I think of Mulberry, I think of one iconic style. That style is, of course, the Alexa Satchel! It is such a gorgeous design. And, in my opinion, it is in the process of becoming even more recognizable that the Mulberry Bayswater Satchel. This growing love for the Alexa Satchel is likely due to this bag’s versatility. The structured satchel styling gives this bag a great sophisticated look. Yet, the optional shoulder strap turns this bag into a more messenger-like style making it perfect for those more casual occasions. That’s why I think this timeless classic has become the inspiration for some more seasonal/trendy renditions. Talk about having your cake and eating it too! One of the most recent renditions of this classic style is the Mulberry Oversized Zigzag Bag!

Christian Louboutin: Halloween ready

Some people incorporate provocative wear to Halloween gatherings, others refuse to turn away from the classic and stick to ultra confident horror inspirations. Witch, vampire, and ghost costumes will sustain the test of time each year, but I can’t say the same about these Christian Louboutin seasonal items.

Shoe mogul Christian Louboutin presents a clan of Halloween ready clutches. These pieces are assembled with the double-darer in mind.

orYANY Holly Backpack

When I was in High School and College I wanted a designer book bag. While in school my funds were incredibly low and I shopped at the outlet stores a lot. Luxury outlet stores but definitely outlet stores. I’ve always been a designer junkie and into fashion. I remember being in High School and seeing some on the girls walk around campus with Louis Vuitton backpack and I so desperately wanted one. I ended up settling for a Coach book bag that I was able to get at the outlet store but it was still super cute. Designer book bags are always cuter than the average Jansport bag but of course nothing is wrong with owning a Jansport. It’s just the norm when you are in school because everyone has a book bag by Jansport.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Goodbye Columbus Bag

When it comes to handbags, simplicity is best. Well at least for me it is. I use to like gaudy handbags with a designers’ initials all over it but thankfully I’m out of that phase. I was visiting family in Orlando, FL over the weekend and I had to make a quick stop at the luxury outlet mall. I went into Michael Kors and bought a gorgeous black envelope style bag in black that also had a gold chain. Best part about the bag was that you had no idea it was by Michael Kors unless you looked up close to it. It’s classy, timeless and isn’t adorned in initials so I don’t feel like I’m a walking advertisement for a designer that doesn’t even know I exist.

The Marc by Marc Jacobs “Goodbye” Columbus Bag is a prime example of a simple but yet beautiful bag. It’s stunning and, once again, it’s another bag that you have no idea who it’s by unless you examine it closely. Not only would this make a great handbag to use right now during the Fall but this is a bag I would use all year long. It has a sophisticated feel to it that can be played up with a casual or elegant look when it comes to wardrobe.

Tory Burch Baja Bags

Late summer release or early resort? Whether the timing was accurate or not, you have to agree that the Baja Bags truly stands out amongst the crowd of fall accessories. I love the blacks and gloomy items of the season but Tory Burch successfully blended carnival stripes onto a durable canvas bag and we’re digging that as well.

Colorful prints are trending this season, but it’s the absence of fall inspirations on this creation that allows this piece to stand out even more. Muted orange, blues, and berry hues are mixed into this colorful palette, while the golden textured rope pulls this handbag together. Without dark cosmic colors, faux furs or hints of sparkle appliqué, we wonder if this tote is a style savvy accessory for the season.
