Rebecca Minkoff sure has a bad case of Spring Fever! That’s okay though, I have a really bad case as well. I don’t know what the weather is like where she is, but they are expecting a rain/snow mix this week where I live. Spring has been so SLOW to get here. So yes, I am itching like crazy right now! That’s why I am so happy to see all the Spring-y pieces Rebecca Minkoff has to offer this season.

My latest obsession is the Rebecca Minkoff Bright Crisscross Bonnie Satchel!

This lovely satchel is really eye catching! I love the woven leather exterior. It creates a nice seasonal look without the use of straw. In fact, the contrasting blue and white creates a geometric print that looks almost nautical in a way. And the brown leather trim adds the perfect accent to this piece. This satchel really looks like something that could stick with you all the way until Fall!

The casual feeling is perfect for those carefree days strolling around the boardwalk or even your local farmers market. However, it is big enough to hold a laptop too, so you could certainly take this satchel just about anywhere!

Prada Saffiano Lux Tote is the ultimate work tote! Couple years ago when I was on the hunt for a work tote I was bouncing back and forth between purchasing the Chanel Cerf and the classic black Prada Saffiano Lux tote. In the end I went the Chanel Cerf (partly because the Chanel SA was so sweet and helpful and) because I liked the softer, more relaxed style, whereas the Saffiano is all structure. Worth noting, this leather is incredibly durable! It will withstand daily wear. This bag is available in so many different colors, this one pictured here is the Caramel and retails for $1895.

The ultimate “Campus” cross-body bag is here. I finished up my schooling years ago from University and I can tell you the petite cross-body style is the ultimate essential. Think about it.. you have your school tote with all your books in it, which weighs on average at any given moment somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 pounds. Why they don’t have download-able textbooks yet gets me. So when you want to run to the lavatory, go on a coffee run or go grab lunch, your not going to want to lug all that around. And sometimes a simple wallet isn’t going to do the trick. Have you ever tried carrying a drink carrier while trying to hold a wallet and an umbrella in the wind? (Yea, I live in Seattle) Not a fun experience. If I was still in school, the Frye Campus Mini Cross-body would be on the top of my list!

I’m a firm believer in that every girl should own a clutch in their closet. Whether you’re going out for brunch, after work drinks with friends or out on Date Night, a classic clutch is your best accessory.

Besides the beautiful detailing of this clutch, the features are worth taking note of. What’s great about this bag is that it comes with a removable shoulder strap, for those days you feel like going hands-free. When not in use leave it tucked away inside and if you change your mind 30 minutes into the date, pop it out, clip it on and whala, a shoulder bag. The size is also very generous. I am ready for spring’s delicate hues though it seems like some fashion moguls are having a difficult time leaving behind winter’s black. Some newly released items arrive rockin’ in heavy-handed tints, such as the Skunk Paillettes Sequin Wristlet. For the record I’m not name-calling, Marc Jacobs observably named this oversized glimmery clutch after the easily identifiable mammal and coveted it into a finer thing. I’d have to say that everything about this clutch is quite attractive.

Well… I am certainly disappointed. The first day of spring has come and gone, yet here I am wondering when the heck spring is actually going to get here. And to think that silly groundhog said we would have only 4 more weeks of winter. Since then, I have counted 7 weeks. It has been cold and snowy almost that entire time. You lied to me Mr Groundhog! So in an effort to cheer myself up, I thought I would take a look at some warm weather handbags — particularly, straw totes! They are perfect for a sunny day at the beach or a casual trip to your local farmers market. Plus they tend to be more on the affordable side. So you won’t feel so bad at the end of the season if your tote was loved a little too much and is beginning to unravel. Personally, I would prefer that over an expensive white leather handbag because I would stress so much over keeping it clean! So if you are looking to lift your spirits and give yourself something to look forward to using this summer, then check out these lovely straw totes featured below.
