What ever happened to Gryson handbags?! Seriously! What happened? I find myself asking that question quite often, yet I never get an answer. Until now! Sort of. Okay, there are still a lot of questions still unanswered. Perhaps you remember though. Gryson handbags were fairly familiar in the handbag world, same goes for Olivia Harris. Then they were suddenly gone. Vanished. The website was empty. Then they resurfaced with new designs, almost as suddenly as they had vanished. Now a new collection has been added. It’s called IIIBeCa (Tribeca). The handbags are handcrafted and 111% of the wholesale proceeds go to three charities: The 9/11 Memorial, Family Focus Adoption Services, and Memorial Sloan-Kettering.
I was certainly intrigued by this new collection, so I decided to check out the styles currently available. What I found was the IIIBeCa by Joy Gryson Leather Flap Satchel! Just look at this bag! I am in love! The design is very classic and a tad reminiscent of some other (more expensive) pieces I have seen over the years. I love the simple shape and magnetic flap closure. It’s available in many colors, but I think the contrasting saddle/black combination is gorgeous! This bag is perfect for casual wear, yet chic enough to wear with outfits that don’t include a pair of jeans.
