JADEtribe Nina Clutch
I heard through the grapevine that the hot new trend for Summer 2010 is the tribal look. But wait… tribal? If you’re praying that it doesn’t involve those so-called tribal tattoos from about a decade or so ago, don’t worry! The tribal look is the big sister of boho. It is cluttered and fun, colorful and cultural, eclectic and quirky. Think ethnic prints, natural materials, and piled on jewelry! And, when it comes to handbags, think JADEtribe! Introducing the Nina Clutch!
This handmade, woven canvas clutch features a print that will complement your tribal look in a color that won’t scream too loudly. Too small for everyday use? This clutch could easily be used as a cosmetic or coin pouch as well! Simply slip it inside a slouchy, boho-chic hobo and you’ll be ready to go! I just love the sweet little touches seen throughout this piece. The antiqued bronze hardware is beautiful and the leather tassel with its assorted beads dangling down is simply adorable. I also like how each JADEtribe handbag is one-of-a-kind (variations in color and pattern make each piece unique). And the JADEtribe Nina Clutch is eco-friendly! The clutch is made entirely of naturally dyed, recycled materials! Neat!
Find the JADEtribe Nina Clutch at ShopBop.com, where it can be purchased for $85.

I would rather buy the fabric from a swap-meet and make my own purse. Unique fabric at a deal, probably $10. Time creating my own purse, probably 10 minutes. That’s one of a kind!
Not for $100! Are you kidding? The the designer says she is using “naturally dyed, recycled materials” that usually means she just bought the fabric from a bazaar or something. And yeah, probably didn’t take her more than 10 minutes per purse. This is going to be in the sale section soon.
Cute!!!
I saw the totes in this collection a couple weeks back, didn’t get to glance at the clutches. I remember thinking, this would sure be cute at a clutch, the handbags were a bit too much.
It’s like a purse you would find at a bazaar. If you don’t plan on going to one anytime soon, then definitely a smart buy. However, if you’re headed to one, I would save your money and get 5 similar ones for that price.
I’m not familiar with this designer, but I like what I see.
