    Kara Ross Velvet Gemma Clutch

    By BrS · On July 27, 2009

    Kara Ross Velvet Gemma Clutch
Back in April, I wrote about the Up and Coming Designer: Kara Ross. In my post, I featured the gorgeous Python Gemma Clutch. Although she was already in the process of making a big name for herself, it seemed as though many Bag Bliss readers had not yet heard her name or seen her wonderful designs. Since then, however, things seemed to have changed a bit. I have been seeing more and more by this designer popping up all over the web. In fact, there were even some Python Gemma Clutches up for grabs on Gilt not too long ago! Boy, I am so sad I missed out on that sale!

So what has Kara Ross been up too since this last Spring? Her new Fall collection for 2009, of course! One of the new pieces for Fall is this Velvet Gemma Clutch. It looks like Kara Ross has traded in eye-popping color for ultra chic. This lovely black velvet clutch features an onyx stone accent on the front and raised seam detailing throughout. It would look gorgeous paired with a simple evening or cocktail dress, perfect for those formal occasions during the Fall and Winter months. Definitely something worth checking out!

The Kara Ross Velvet Gemma Clutch is available in Onyx. It retails for $455 and it measures 10″ x 5″ x 4″. Find it at NET-A-PORTER.COM!

Do you think there will be another sample sale?

    • miss jackson

I have to know who that dress is by!

    • Kara K.

Nay to the velvet. I have a puppy and a cat.. magnet for their hair.

Kara Ross is an amazing clutch designer. I love the simple design.

I love her outfit! Who makes that dress and shoes?

    • BRS

The dress is by Willow and the shoes are by Lanvin.

Jumpin Jellyfish – That was the first time I’d seen them at
Gilt and they were actually mixed in with the Summer Jewelry Sale.
I’d imagine her stuff will be featured again, but keep your eyes
peeled for Kara Ross jewelry too because they might just lump
      them together again.

Ooh give me that whole outfit please!

    • lena

I could see myself wearing that outfit to a winter event. Love it, thanks.

    • melodie

Not likin the velvet, but the python is pretty.

    • ali

I always thought this brand was expensive.

    • ruby

So is it true that you can never wear velvet during summer?
Or is that more of a winter fabric?

      thanks.

    • afternoon

      Pretty.
