Nanette Lepore Handbags: Now Available at Luna Boston!

Since the age of nine, Nanette Lepore had a passion for fashion design. Lepore received her degree in design from New York City’s Fashion Institute of Technology and she began making a name for herself in the early 1990s when she set up shop in a penthouse office. Today, her designs are recognized around the world and she enjoys a strong following among celebrities. Lepore is famous for her feminine style and floaty fabrics.

Personally though, when I think of Nanette Lepore, handbags are the furthest thing from my mine. All I see is her gorgeous clothing. But all of this flew out the window when I stumbled across her new handbag collection at Luna Boston today! Yes, you heard right ladies. Nanette Lepore is now making handbags and, man, they are gorgeous! What I like about her designs is that she has a little bit of everything mixed in there — rocker chic, boho chic, you name it! And if I’m not mistaken, I can even see a little bit of Chinese eternity knot influence in there (channeling Katherine Kwei, perhaps?).
