Rebecca Minkoff Studded Out Drawstring Pouch Bag

I first took notice of the drawstring pouch trend when my fellow Bag Bliss blogger, Deysa, featured it in one of her posts back in April (you can check it out here: BagBliss Trend Alert: The Drawstring Pouch Bag). Personally, I think this look is nothing short of adorable! So you can imagine how thrilled I was to see that Rebecca Minkoff had jumped on the drawstring pouch bandwagon as well. Meet the Studded Out Drawstring Pouch Bag! This lovely little pouch is covered from head to toe in tiny silver studs.

And I had thought Deysa’s picks were heavy on the studs! Wow! What sets this drawstring pouch aside from the others, however, is the bottom of the bag. Rather than having the typical round bottom that is created using a separate piece of material, the Rebecca Minkoff Studded Out Drawstring Pouch has employed the use of pleats to help create the rounded shape. Neat! Plus I am absolutely in love with Rebecca Minkoff’s new polka dot lining. The blue/black combo is cute, but it still maintains the bag’s bad girl image. Take into account the extra long chain strap and you have yourself an edgy drawstring pouch that is sure to take you from day to night and everywhere in between!

Find the Rebecca Minkoff Studded Out Drawstring Pouch Bag at ShopBop.com, where it can be purchased for only $350!

That barrel purse caught my attention. It’s different, unlike all other bags in her collection.

The bag is kinda cute. I was really torn between this one and the Olivia Harris baby ball drawstring bag. Shopbop’s modeling picture above really makes the bag look hot, though. I wished it wasn’t $350, which is just $20 more than a MAC, i’d get it. But for that price I rather get a MAC instead.

I would like it a whole lot more without all those studs. It’s too overwhelming.

I like Rebecca Minkoff but I think she has way too many sample sales. Her brand was built on that, which was not a wise move. Now nobody wants to pay full price for her bags. Don’t get me wrong, her Botkier-esque bags are charming. I like the barrel bag pictured above. The stud trend is dying out hard.

I have to have this purse, once it hits the sample sales of course. Why spend full price on one of her bags when tomorrow it will be on sale for 70% off?!

    Studs, really? Still?

I don’t like it. The only RM purse I like is the mac. I hope that bag doesn’t turn up looking like this.

I’m more interested in the barrel bag. The drawstring bag is fine, but too much money for a bag that I can’t use everyday.

I love it and really want to get it, but not for $350. That’s way too much for me :(
