Reed Krakoff Belted Envelope Clutch
It has only been six short months since Net-A-Porter began stocking their virtual shelves with Reed Krakoff handbags. The new luxury brand was launched last year by Coach’s Creative Director, Reed Krakoff. His designs became an instant hit and they seem to have been flying off those virtual shelves as quickly as Net-A-Porter has been able to stock them! Not bad for a new designer! But Krakoff does have over 20 years of experience in the fashion world, so it really is no surprise. So what styles are currently available from this designer? One that really caught my eye was the Reed Krakoff Knotted Strap Envelope Clutch!
First of all, just look at that gorgeous color! Nothing is more delicious than a bright candy apple red! The color goes nicely with the simple envelope styling of this clutch. I also like the mixing of textures that is going on. The main body of the clutch is made of super supple leather, which is contrasted with a python panel on the front flap. And since belted handbags are super hot right now, I think the knotted strap encircling the middle of the clutch is oh-so chic! This clutch would look stunning paired with your favorite little black dress. Or if you’re feeling ambitious, pair it with some of this season’s neutrals!
