Alexander McQueen Chain Bucket Bag
A simple bucket style handbag from Alexander McQueen? Sounds a little weird, doesn’t it? It certainly isn’t something that you see everyday. But that isn’t necessarily a bad thing! I love watching the designs evolve and change, now that Sarah Burton has taken the reins. She has been experimenting and this design is a product of that. And not a bad product, if I do say so myself. I love it! Introducing the Alexander McQueen Chain-Embellished Bucket Bag!
This seemingly simple bag has a surprising amount of stuff going on! First of all, it is suede. Despite the fact that suede bags are a pain to maintain, I absolutely love them! Nothing beats the look and feel of suede! I also like the slight crescent shape and drawstring closure, giving this bucket style a more relaxed look. This bag is also very versatile. Do you see those leather loops at the sides? They have buckles on them allowing the chain shoulder strap to be switched out for some circular metal and leather handles. The setup allows this bag to convert easily from shoulder to handheld in a way that reminds me very much of the Jil Sander Market Bag. Not bad!

I just love the shape of this bag. The chain shoulder strap and the hoop handles are fabulous!
