Alexander McQueen Heroine Bag
Zoe Saldana’s Alexander McQueen ‘Heroine’ Bag
Crystal encrusted skulls? Heavy duty hardware and studs? Although these are things you normally think of when you think of Alexander McQueen, you will find none of those things on this particular piece. Introducing the Alexander McQueen Heroine Small Satchel!
Plain and simple. That is what you see when you look at this bag. But is that really a bad thing? I don’t think it is. Yes, skulls and studs are super cool. However, they aren’t always appropriate for the look you are trying to go for. If an occasion calls for something sleek and sophisticated, then you might want to keep the fun hardware to a minimum. That’s why I am loving this bag! The soft, curving lines give this bag an element of elegance. The shape is classic, yet a little bit different from the usual. The gusseted sides pull the top corners in when closed and relax them outward when open. Plus the flap closure is awesome! I have never seen one where one handle actually threads through it like that. That is what is so wonder about this piece. It is different, but not so different that it would cause an unwanted stir. This bag would look great with business attire or you favorite little black dress, perfect for those times when you don’t want to carry a ton of stuff with you.
