Alexander McQueen Queen Skull Clutch
Alexander McQueen always did have a way of making us girls feel glamorous. Perhaps that is why the late designer’s work is now being coveted by everyone from celebs to regular old bagistas like ourselves. But the McQueen name still lives on in his company and, I must say, I am pleased with what I have been seeing so far. Take, for example, the Alexander McQueen Queen Skull Jacquard Clutch — a clutch that truly is fit for a queen!
This beautiful box clutch is dressed in a black and gold floral brocade. Just like the queen’s garden, the elegant leaf pattern resembles a work of art. The clutch is topped off with a theatrical, crystal-embellished skull clasp. I find the detail to be exquisite and the skull’s glaze enchanting. Plus the crown perched atop its head is kind of cute! Just large enough to hold your keys and lipstick, it would seem that this piece would feel more at home on a museum’s shelf. But a special occasion is definitely a good reason to put it to work! And this striking piece would certainly make a great showstopper! I would recommend pairing it with a little black dress, letting the simple background showcase this gorgeous clutch!

I’m iffy on this. I love the classic skull clutch, but this one seems a bit much. Maybe it’s the jacquard print that I don’t like so much. Will it come out in just plain leather?
Gosh too gorgeous for words. I’ve always been a fan of the skull clutch, but this new queen one is so amazing.
Maybe it’s the combination of gold and silver that I don’t like so much.
