Emily Cho Oversized Folded Clutch

When I first saw the Emily Cho Oversized Folded Clutch, I thought perhaps my eyes were playing tricks on me. I knew I had seen this design before. But where? Then it dawned on me. Of course, Alexander McQueen’s De-Manta Clutch! See the resemblance? Now I don’t know if McQueen was the first (ever) to come up with this design, after all it is pretty simple. But I do know that this design will forever be in my mind a McQueen. This is understandable, considering the Alexander McQueen De-Manta Clutch is practically everywhere!

This doesn’t mean, however, that I don’t like the Emily Cho Oversized Folded Clutch. I love McQueen’s version, so why wouldn’t I like this one? You’re getting the same awesome design, only in some very vibrant colors! I was hoping though, that this would be a “look-for-less”. But, to my surprise, the suggested retail on this clutch is similar to McQueen’s version. However, it appears as though fans of this newly born handbag collection (it launched in April 2010) don’t mine. In fact, the official website is sold out of this clutch in every color! Don’t worry though, you can still presale for one of these gorgeous colors through Singer22! They are expected to ship in December, so it will be just it time for the Spring 2012 season!

It’s a total look for less. I love Alexander McQueen but this one is fabulous.

Her handbag collection launched in April 2010, so she’s pretty new.

Ick to the pastel colors! I actually like the look of the clutch, just not the colors. It’s like barbie-barf.
